Joseph "JoJo" Joestar (born September 27, 2019) is an American football quarterback for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for Purdue University and is a waiting to be drafted in the S24 ISFL Draft.

Early years

Joseph Joestar was born in New York City, New York, to George Joestar II and Elizabeth Joestar. His parents both passed away when he was young, and he went to live with his Grandmother, Erina Joestar. One or both of his parents must have been very good football players, because Joseph had a natural ability to understand the game from a young age. He blew past his peers, and exhibited an arm that rivaled that of a high school star quarterback while he was in pee wee leagues. He attended New Rochelle High School, in New Rochelle. The school is considered to be the best in the state. Joestar easily became varsity quarterback freshman year. They would win the state championship 4 years in a row with their young star at the helm.

College career

Many colleges would contact JoJo, but ultimately he would sign for Purdue University in order to follow the footsteps of one of his idols, Drew Brees of the National Football League. JoJo would be backup his freshman year with little time on the field. He would take the reigns in his second season and lead Purdue to its first bowl game win since 2017. They would make a College Football Playoffs appearance the same season. It would not be until his 3rd season that Purdue would win the National Championship. They would repeat for his final season, with back to back Championship wins. Joestar would finish 4th, and 2nd in Heisman voting during his sophomore and junior seasons. He would finally win the trophy as a senior.

Professional career

London Royals

2037 season

JoJo was picked up on waivers by the London Royals before being drafted. He would ride the bench all the way to the Ultimini where the Royals would lose 6-10 to the Tijuana Luchadores. About his time in London, Joestar is quoted as saying, "If coach woulda put me in fourth quarter, we would've been DSFL champions. No doubt. No doubt in my mind."

Myrtle Beach Buccaneers

2038 season

JoJo would be drafted in the fourth round of the DSFL draft, 32 overall. He would be the third quarterback taken behind Sam Howitzer and Mattathias Caliban. He was drafted by the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers, a team looking for someone to fill the big shoes of Ultimini-winning quarterback Chris Ramos who would be leaving after the season. For his first season, Joestar shared his time in the pocket with Ramos. Ramos continued his dangerous rushing game while JoJo focused on a pass heavy game. The two would compliment each others well, making it hard for defenses to adapt to two different styles. Unfortunately they would not do well enough to make the playoffs, ending the season in last place in the SFC with a 6-8 record. They would be unlucky, as they posted a better point differential than both the Birddogs and the Luchadores. It would prove a disappointing end to Ramos' tenure as quarterback, but the team has expressed faith in the skills of Joestar as their future. Joestar described himself in a press conference as the "Rex Grossman of the league" - comparing himself to the former NFL quarterback. He explained his plan to "deep throw" the ball. Critics have expressed doubt at the effectiveness of this plan considering their experienced receiver core is on the way out and he will be throwing to youngsters who may not be able to handle his balls.
