George Corpsegrinder Fisher (born July 8, 2013) is an American football linebacker for the Tijuana Luchadores of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

"The day is finally here when Corpse Grinder has crawled out of his cave in hell and ascended into the land of the living. With a mind full of death metal and a fist full of deflated footballs, Corpse Grinder is ready to put fear into the eyes of his opponents. As a child, he was born half demon and half human as a result of a one night stand during a Highway to Hell AC/DC tour. He has never met either of his parents and was raised by talking bats and demons in the underworld. He learned of the game of football from all the degenerate gamblers that ended up in hell and immediately started to like the violent aspect of the game. As he grew older he would become stronger and stronger and faster and faster. He would line up the other demons in hell as tackling dummies and dreamed of one day actually playing professionally. He loved the game so much that he actually created his own league in hell with the other demons. He not only was the best linebacker in the league but he also played tight end and lead the league in tackles, sacks, receiving yards, and touchdowns. The league was a little different than how humans play it since they used a squashed human skull instead of a football but Corpse Grinder's talent was evident even to those you didn't know much about the game of football. "

College career

"He worked day in and day out to become stronger and learn about defensive formations and how to attack a running back in the hole. When he turned 19 he got his dream when a dead football coach from New Era Academy high school in Maryland ended up in hell and watched some of his play. He was able to possess the Athletic Director's mind and perform a ritual to bring Corpse Grinder from hell into the land of the living. Corpsegrinder after that point was one of the top high school linebackers in the state and earned a scholarship to the University of Maryland. He went on to have an amazing couple years for the team but a misunderstanding over a dead bat and campus golf cart ended up getting Corpsegrinder expelled from school. Some people think he is a little strange because all he does is headbang all day and sleep in a coffin, but all Corpse Grinder wants to do is smash offensive players. He is now setting his sights on the DSFL and NSFL. "

Professional career

DSFL career

"In his first season in the DSFL George ‘Corpsegrinder’ Fisher was drafted to the Tijuana Luchadores and had an impact from the first week with the team. He was a natural fit with current linebacker Ugarth The Dissector and both wrecked havoc on offenses. Fisher’s speed was apparent from his first snap with the Luchadores and he can cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time. His standout game of the season was his performance in a week 5 28-17 win over the Norfolk Seawolves. George ‘Corpsegrinder’ Fisher ended the game with 11 tackles, 1 sack and 1 pass deflection.

Although Corpsegrinder's team the Tijuana Luchadores didn't make the playoffs his only season there Fisher surprised a lot of people in the league with not only his impact on the field but also off the field. He ended up 11th in the DSFL in tackles for season 21 and everyone in the Luchadores locker room praised him for his commitment to the team and his teammates. Although he might seem like a scary death metal demon from hell he is really a soft teddy bear on the inside. George 'Corpsegrinder' Fisher cherished his time in Tijuana and developed a deep connnection to the Luchadores and many of their players."

NSFL S22 Draft Combine

Going into the season 22 draft in the NSFL it was one of the largest draft classes in history with depth at multiple positions. With draft like this there are bound to be players that slip in the draft and teams that can get a lot of value from them in the middle to later rounds. George 'Corpsegrinder' Fisher was exactly that in the draft. Although his potential and DSFL stats had him as a 3rd to 4th round pick by many going into the draft Fisher fell to the 6th round to the San Jose Sabercats. This draft could be seen as a turning point for the Sabercats as they were able to secure 4 potential stars on defense with George 'Corpsegrinder' Fisher and Lawrence Bass at linebacker, and Chester Sweets and Cadillac Harris at cornerback. If they live up to their potential this Sabercat defense could be one of the best in the league for seasons to come.
