Emerson Quinn (born February 7, 2027) is an American football linebacker for the London Royals of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Emerson Quinn was born on July 2nd, 2027 in Visalia, California, to Donald Quinn, a professor at Fresno State University, and Kaila Moreno, a secretary for the university. Donald Quinn played two years for the Chicago Maroons before undergoing surgery for a career-ending injury. During rehabilitation, Donald met Kaila, where they began their relationship, ultimately marrying after university. Although Donald never pursued football after his injury, he maintained his passion for the sport. A few years later, Emerson was born. Quinn's mother encouraged him to play football at the age of 7, to the dismay of Quinn's father, an ex-tight-end himself. As a former player at a high level, Donald was not supportive of the idea of his son entering the sport at such a young age. Quinn took to the game, telling his elementary school teacher that he intended to become "a star in the NFL." After seeing his son's love for the sport, Donald changed his mind and began supporting his son's football aspirations.

College career

Quinn attended college at Fresno State University where he played for the Bulldogs from 2047 to 2049, where he played as a tight-end. After redshirting his first year in 2047, he played in all 13 games with one start in 2048 and had 19 receptions for 318 yards and seven touchdowns. In 2049, Quinn started 11 of 13 games, recording 27 receptions for 425 yards and six touchdowns. He was the recipient of the 2049 Ryan Reynolds Award. In early January 2050, it was announced that Quinn would forgo his senior year at Fresno State in favor of the 2050 DSFL Draft. Quinn finished his three years at Fresno State with the seventh most touchdown receptions (20) by any receiver and had the second most receiving yards (1,665) by a tight end. By the end of his college career, Emerson considered a 'position swap' per the suggestion of his father, who suffered a career-ending injury in college.
