The [[Honolulu Hahalua]] struggled for the majority of the season as they started off the season 0-5. It was frustrating for Big Slammu who at that point was simply not used to losing. He already had 3 Ultimus Rings and figured that this was another year where they could make it happen. Instead, the Hahalua continued the downward spiral they had suffered after starting 8-1 in Season 32. On the field, Big Slammu was rumored to have lost a step due to an offseason injury he had not disclosed to training staff. This drew the ire of coaches who expected Slammu to be upfront about possible injuries, especially considering he had been a free agent at the time of the supposed injury. Big Slammu ultimately denied all rumor's of an injury as he went on to put up another season north of a 100 tackles and had a 14 sack season. It was slightly disappointing of a statistical output from Slammu's perspective and with the team failing to make the playoffs for the second straight year, it seemed it would be up in the air if Big Slammu returned to the team for Season 34.
