Ace Anderson (born October 1, 2034) is an American football offensive lineman who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Florida (UF) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Ace Anderson was born on a cold (for Florida) January morning to Maggie and Howard Anderson on a fishing trawler near Long Cabbage Island. Ace grew up in the rural area surrounding Chiefland, FL and helped his parents on their fishing business. His mother Maggie remembers Ace carrying crab pots to and from their trawler by himself even as a young boy. As a freshman at Chiefland High School, Ace began his athletic career as a wrestler known for his fast hands and great footwork. Near the end of his freshman year, the football coach had already recruiter him to play offensive line the following year and got Ace started in the workout room. Ace became known for his dominance on the line, during his time at Chiefland High, the offense conceded the fewest sacks in recent history due to Ace's presence on the field. In his senior year, Ace helped his team finish the season strong only getting eliminated in the state semifinals. Anderson received multiple offers from in-state schools but he opted to play in Gainesville for the University of Florida after being convinced by his parents to stay close by.

College career

As a true freshman, Ace saw little field time but was able to impress in practice and workout sessions to earn a starting spot his sophomore year. During the next three years, the Gators boasted one of the best offenses in the SEC. Anderson held it down in the middle of the pack and was known for pancaking opposing linebackers, his meme game, and his on field leadership. Derick Dalton, the starting quarterback for Ace's last two seasons remarked "Ace was the go to guy for inspiration. He was the most competitive guy in the room and would get us fired up for the big drives." Sadly, during his time at the University of Florida, the Gators were never able to make it past the conference championship losing to Alabama three years in a row. After earning his Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management and the end of his senior year, Ace declared for the ISFL Draft and began his offseason workout regimen to get ready to play on Sundays.

2056

After being drafted fourth overall by the Dallas Birddogs, Ace underwent a reverse Captain America procedure to fill the gap in the Birddogs' offense at running back. He started off strong in his first game at Running Back in Week 2 helping beat the Bondi Beach Buccaneers 21-20, racking up 101 rushing yards in 21 attempts and his first career touchdown. His best game came against the Portland Pythons in Week 12 where he put up 118 yards and 2 touchdowns leading the Birddogs in just their second win of the season. While the 2056 Season was a tough one for the 2-11-1 Birddogs, Ace Anderson was still able rush for just over 1000 yards and was able to find the endzone on five occasions. After being drafted by the Sarasota Sailfish as the 11th pick of the S42, Ace was sent back to Dallas to continue his development before being called up to the big leagues.

2057

As the start of the 2057 season drew ever closer, the city of Dallas became ever more eager to kick off the season. Most of Dallas' promising rookie class of 2056 were returning to the DSFL and the opinion was that Dallas could have a miraculous turnaround after their last place finish in the season prior. However, Anderson's second season in the DSFL saw a drastic change in his overall stats. Over the offseason, Dallas added rookie running back Reginald Arceneaux out of TCU to the running back room to split carries with Ace. At first, Ace was surprised by how many carries the rookie was seeing. However, as the season wore on, he realized that this decision was what as best for the team and he credits it with his uptick in touchdowns over the course of the season. Unfortunately, even though Dallas was much more potent on both sides of the ball this year, their season ended in heartbreak when they narrowly missed out on the matchup. At the end of the season, Ace received the call from the Sailfish front office that he would be stepping up to the ISFL to make his debut in the 2058 season.

2058

Despite his relative inexperience to the rest of the ISFL, Ace Anderson was called up by the Sarasota Sailfish to be the team's lead running back for the 2058 Season after Pete Zuh was traded to the Berlin Fire Salamanders. Over the course of the season, Ace able to rack up almost 1000, 332 receiving yards, and eight touchdowns. In his first game, Ace was held to 54 rushing yards and was unable to find the end zone in Sarasota’s opening win of the 2048 season. His first touchdown came in his next appearance when he was able to find the endzone by converting a 1-yard rush into a score against the Sabercats. Ace’s true breakout, however, would come in Week 3 against the Yellowknife Wraiths. Ace had 132 rushing yards with a season long rush of 51 yards and he even chipped in with 32 receiving yards on two receptions. Even so, Sarasota was unable to make it the playoffs after a disappointing run at the end of the season. The team hopes to rebound in 2059 and hopefully, make it to the postseason.

2059

2059 was Ace's breakout season. Over the offseason, the team had some issues to address in order to be more efficient on the offensive side of the ball. The team got together and eventually came to the conclusion that they have one of the best Quarterbacks in the league, why not give him another passing target? Not a natural receiver by any means, Ace worked hard during his time off to improve his pass catching ability and it paid off dividends in the new season. Not only was Ace able to contribute 610 receiving yards and five touchdowns but the added training and elusive brought by receiving the ball further down the field helped him become a more effective runner. He was able to put up 1141 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns, nearly doubling his total from the previous season. Even though the fish would eventually fall in the first round of the playoffs, Ace was super proud of his development and his new role in the team. Alongside some solid draft picks and other growing, young players the Sailfish have a bright future to look forward to.

2060

S45 would see a downtick in Ace Anderson's production for the Sailfish. During the offseason, the Sailfish would sign Running Back Kumquat Archipelago to help share the workload. Despite seeing his role in the offense diminish because of Archipelago's arrival, Ace was excited to learn from the veteran and knew that the best teams had two stellar running backs in order to keep both of them fresh down the stretch. The Sailfish would struggle some through the course of the season, losing some tight matchups that could've gone either way. Even with those minor setbacks, the Sailfish were able to secure a spot in the playoffs eventually making their way to the Ultimus, Ace's first appearance in the biggest game of the year. Even though the Sailfish would go on to lose in the tightly contested game to the Copperheads, Ace would put up 97 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns with 53 more receiving yards on the statsheet. Fueled by his desire to get a championship ring, Ace would buckle down over the offseason and put in considerable hours in the gym and on the practice field to elevate his quality of play to once again challenge for an Ultimus title and push to become one of the best running backs in the league.

2061

Ace's fourth season would be his biggest one for the Sailfish yet. He would rack up 1323 rushing yards (6th most in the league) with eight touchdowns. He would also add on 592 receiving yards with four touchdowns. His combined yardage of 1915 yards would be the most of his professional career so far. Playing an integral role in the team alongside RB2, Kumquat Archipelago, the running back from Florida would help lead the Sailfish to a 9-7 season, coming second in their division and qualifying for the post season. His best game would come early in the season against Week 2 in Sarasota's 26-17 over the Chicago Butchers. Anderson would put up 131 rushing yards on 28 attempts and 32 receiving yards, catching four of his six targets. In the post season, the Sailfish would lose in overtime to the Yellowknife Wraiths, despite dominating the game in terms of possession and yardage. Ace's 120 receiving yards, two touchdowns, and 45 receiving yards would help keep the Sailfish in the game but ultimately, was not enough to get them win. Over the offseason, Ace would get close to his max potential and with the continued regression of other key pieces in the offense, Ace's outlook for the 2062 seems extremely promising.
