Dustin A Parmelee (born April 20, 2023) is an American football quarterback for the London Royals of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). The Minor league version of the ISFL.

Early Years

Dustin Parmelee was born in Brooklyn, NY. It wasnt long after his birth that he developed passion for football, that derived from his father. As DP grew up and developed into his body, he ran into uncertainty on the playing field because he ran fast, was smart but he could also catch the ball and throw the ball a mile. By the time he got to 9th grade he decided he was going to play QB. He started all 4 years in high school as the QB for the varsity team. He broke all the passing state record for single season and career by the time his season year came to a close. That winter he enjoyed his recruitment as all the big colleges from around the country came knocking on his door. He had letters from LSU, Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon and every other team you can imagine. He knew the whole time which school he was going to go to. His dream school. OSU.

College Career

Parmelee got recruited by his dream school the OSU Buckeyes. He was the unusual breed that was able to see significant time on the playing field. He helped lead the Buckeyes to a conference title and win over rival Michigan that season. This victory encouraged the team as he threw 5 touchdowns and ran for 2 more in a dismantling of the Wolverines. With the confidence gained from the victory, the Buckeyes went on to win the national championship, led by a freshman QB. A run to back-to-back championships is what was in the cards for the Buckeyes the next season. Parms junior season wasnt one to remember though. After getting injured in the first game, DP didnt know how to cope and wound up getting in trouble and was removed from the team by October. That spring he decided to forgo the rest of college and entered his name i as a free agent in the DSFL. He was late for the draft, so he wasnt able to be drafted. He was picked up off the waivers however.

DSFL Career

Tijuana Luchadores could see the talent in Dustin Parmelee when they interviewed him, 16 hours after entering his name in the free agent data base. Tijuana pickd him off of the waiver pile and gave him a home with the Luchadores. He was able to fit right in with the crew, and was a positive locker room presents. As of now he hasnt played a snap, and doesnt expect to, not this season any ways. With that said he does intend on learning a lot while observing the players on his team. The Luchadores have a rich history of winning, and DP gets to have a front row seat in their pursuit of a 9th DSFL championship! "I get to watch some great players doing their thing, on the winningest team in the league. Im lucky they took a chance on me and I vow to them I wont let them down. They wont regret picking me up off the waiver heap." Is what Dustin had to say about playing in Tijuana. Dustin was selected with the last pick in the first round, Number 8 overall by the London Royals in the S29 Draft. Also part of the incoming draft class was RB Kiara Tenoh, CB Savior Hawkins, WR Bradley Welch and QB Jack R, essentially revamping the offense that was devastated with ISFL call ups. The Royals went 0-4 in the pre-season then started on fire going 4-1 in their first 5 games. After week 5 things took a downward turn as they would lose 4 of their next 5 including 3 games in a row to bring their record to 5-5 with 4 weeks left in the season. The London Royals fought hard and played some inspiring football in the last four weeks, however, they were only able to finish the season with a 7-7 record. Both loses the Royals had the lead late in the fourth quarter but were not able to recover in either one. They missed the playoffs for the first time since season 27 and will be back with a vengeance next season.

Dustins 2nd full season in the DSFL was a bit of a step back. He was named Offensive team captain prior to the season, and he was a much better player on paper, but the season started off on the wrong foot and they hit a slippery slope that seen them drop from a 7-7 record to a 1-12 record. With one game left to go. He threw for more yards and had more attempts and completions but with 1 game left his TD total is still 1 less than his first season and he has broke the record for interceptions thrown in a season. By the end of this season Dustin will own almost every season and game passing record for the London Royals. With the exception of passing touch downs (unless he throws 4 td's in the final game.) Next season he will attempt to be the franchise record holder in all passing categories, as he is not yet expected to get the call up from Yellowknife.

ISFL Career

When Dustin Parmelee was looking over the rosters in the ISFL, and trying to be a psychic figure out what teams were going to be on the market for a QB. In his best attempt at guessing what ISFL teams may be looking for a QB in the draft, he landed on two teams. The Orange County Otters and the Yellowknife Wraiths. Dustin found out that Colby Jack was the QB for the Wraiths currently, and was having MVP Caliber seasons while at the helm of Yellowknife. Then he found out Colby was the first ever QB in Royal history and took them to their Ultimini in their 2nd season of existence, and he knew Yellowknife was the place for him. He reached out to their GM instead of waiting for them to reach out to him. He wanted them to know this is what he wanted and he'd do whatever it takes to be their top pick. Dustin must have impressed them enough because on the night of the season 30 ISFL draft, the Yellowknife Wraiths selected QB Dustin Parmelee with their first round pick, the 8th overall selection. "I couldn't be happier. I get to literally learn for the best the league has to offer today. This Wraith team is loaded with talent, and are going to be fighting for those Ultimus's for years to come." Dustin Parmelee was quoted as saying to the media on that draft night.
