Early years
Jodarn Hartline has always been a huge football fan and he has loved every second of being on the field. From a very young age he showed promise and he always enjoyed spending time with his dad who was his coach through much of his upbringing. Jordan Hartline loved the physicality of football and even when he was playing in Pee-Wees; yes that was the name of the league he played for as a child, he had a knack for playing both sides of the ball. On offense he was always a consistent presence that the quarterback could think of as a sure thing. Always being able to put himself in the right spot and making sure that the the Quarterback had a target to throw too. On the defensive side of the ball he was always seen as a leader and you knew that you were going to find him at the MLB spot. He was never afraid to put his nose in the middle of the action and his ability to make an impact on both sides of the ball allowed him to be noticed right away when it came to offers from colleges around the country.
College career
After a stellar High School career Jordan Hartline got the opportunity to play for The Ohio State University at the collegiate level and this is where he began to really show his abilities as a player. As a true freshman Jordan Hartline began to play on both sides of the ball for OSU, playing as a Tight End on Offense and being thrust right into the middle of the defense as MLB. His ability to be impactful on both sides of the ball earned him All-Team honors as a freshman and he carried that over into all of his years as an upper classman. His Sophomore and Junior season he led the team in tackles while remaining a force to be reckoned with on the offensive side of the ball grabbing a handful of touchdowns in both seasons. In his Senior year he really hit his stride as a Linebacker and had a season that showed that he was ready for the big leagues and that whatever team he ended up on was going to get an amazing player!
