Early years
Spector was born into noble heritage, as his father owns a very large media corporation in the New York City area, and his mother is heiress to a popular magazine fortune. His parents combined worth exceeds well over 24 Billion dollars. Marc attended prestigious schools growing up and took great interest in things like archaeology, anthropology and history in general. When his father had trips across the globe, he would often jetset with him, taking him to all corners of the planet. He was always a gifted athlete, climbing mountains and running all over the place. In high school, he tried out for football on a whim, easily outspeeding any competition he had. He played wide receiver in high school and made All-State 3 years in a row.
College career
After signing onto Rice after a successful high school career, he was quickly overshadowed by larger talent at the receiver position. When he was playing a scrimmage, he found he was able to get in front of the ball faster than anyone, but actually coming down with it became a problem when pressed. The coach made the decision to switch him to cornerback, which prided itself on deflections and the occasional interception instead of a receiver who needed the reception. He did well in college as a cornerback, getting 6 interceptions and defending 28 passes in his first year. He put up similar numbers in the following years, earning him an invite to the NSFL.
