Early years
King's parents were UI designers at HP when Kaiden was conceived. Growing up in the upper-middle class, Kaiden in his spare time learned to cook, garden, and also code and also was valedictorian for his high school class. He dreams of becoming a UI designer like his parents if football didn't pan out. Living in Houston, Kaiden originally played the sport of baseball and was known for his hands when catching upcoming flyballs. He was good enough to catch the eyes of minor league teams with his play as a middle schooler. However, he sprained his wrist making a diving play to catch the ball in a game. It was severe and he then decided to hang up playing baseball and almost sports altogether. Kaiden then attended North Shore where in his first two years was a wide receiver. However, due to steady competition, he was greatly outclassed and switched to defense. He played as a safety for the rest of his high school career. He also joined the National Honor Society and DECA to enhance his resume. His play was enough to reach the eyes of Rice University, looking for talent to reach the top of Conference USA. Impressing scouts with his on and off-the-court professionalism, he was later offered a full-ride scholarship to Rice where he majored in Computer Science.
