Achilles Hondo (born April 13, 2003) is a retired American football fullback and cornerback who played in the National Simulation Football League (NSFL). He played college football for Fort Valley State (FVSU) before being drafted to the DSFL in 2024 by the Tijuana Luchadores.
Early years

Hondo grew up playing basketball and football and was a three-sport athlete at Buford High School where he also was a member of the track and field team. Hondo was selected to the All-County team for football in his senior year in which Buford also won the regional championship.
College career
Early in the recruiting process, Hondo made it clear that he desired to play football at the University of Georgia, the school that both of his parents had attended. With limited options available, Hondo decided to accept a scholarship to play for Fort Valley State University in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). His freshman year ended up being a rough transition for Hondo to the college environment. He was only allowed to play half the season after being put on academic probation and nearly lost his scholarship after receiving an alcohol citation. Between his Freshman and Sophomore seasons, Hondo sought help for his off the field issues, leaning heavily on his parents and strength and conditioning coach at FVSU who had become a mentor for him during his freshman year.
