Until the two boys reached high school age they took turns playing the QB position and both of them were very successful. When the time came for the two boys to play high school football their parents elected to send them to separate schools to give them both an opportunity to earn full rides to college. At this point, Colby played for Sheldon High, where he won 2 state championships during his tenure!

Now in all honesty, Jack could have left Oregon after his junior season and been a very high pick in the DSFL, but he decided that his team was more important and therefore returned for his senior year. Replicating the same numbers was unlikely, but he surely came close. Jack finished his senior season with 3660 yards passing for 27 touchdowns and rushed for 1601 yards with 18 touchdowns. On their way to a 12-2 record the Duck's quarterback was once again a Heisman finalist, but he ultimately did not win the award that season.

In his first full season, Colby Jack was drafted number 2 overall and became the first ever Quarterback for the newly formed London Royals. His brother, Monty Jack, was taken number one overall by the Dallas Birddogs in a true win/win situation for both teams and players. Neither team could lose in this situation as both of the brothers are surefire prospects for their future NSFL teams that await them. In their first ever meeting in the DSFL, Colby Jack was victorious beating Monty and the Birddogs by a score of 34-7. In that outing Colby went 14/22 for 123 Yards and 1 passing touchdown. However, the next time that the two met in Dallas during week 8, Colby was on the losing end falling to the Birddogs 27-10. All in all the brothers both had difficult first seasons in the DSFL as they were getting adjusted to new teammates and the faster pace of the game. The London Royals finished their inaugural season with 5 wins and 9 losses unfortunately but they will be returning a lot of stars most likely in their second season, Colby included.

While Colby Jack will be returning to the [[London Royals]] for at least a second season to refine his skills, he does know where he will be playing his NSFL football already. He was drafted in the second round of the NSFL draft at pick 22 overall and will be the man in charge of replacing the great Cooter Bigsby for the [[Yellowknife Wraiths]] in a few seasons. Somewhat of Jimmy G situation in New England, except this time around the Wraiths won't be trading him away for a 4th round pick!

What a whirlwind of turnaround it was for Colby Jack and the London Royals in year 2 of the franchises existence. Record wise things might not seem like there was much change, but the outcome sure does. After going 5-9 in year 1 the Royals went 6-8 in year 2, but come playoff time they made things count! In the first round of the playoffs, London defeated the Minnesota Greyducks on the road in a 13-10 overtime thriller and punched their ticket to the Ultimini. In the Ultimini the Royals took on the juggernaut Tijuana Luchadores and unfortunately lost with the final score being 10-6 in an absolute defensive battle.

In year 2, Colby Jack made strides as a quarterback and will surely be in consideration for Quarterback of the Year honors after posting the highest QB rating for anyone over 200 attempts (80.5%). Jack threw for 2,393 yard and 16 touchdowns showing huge strides from his rookie season.

This season also saw the last battles of the Jack brothers until the two face off again once both taking their thrones in the NSFL. In the two match ups this season, Colby and Monty split once again. Well year 3 in the DSFL was not the most exciting of times for Colby Jack as he played his last season for the London Royals. Splitting time with the future quarterback of the Royals just did not work out for Colby as it seemed to consistently screw up any rhythm that may have been there the year before. Bringing back Sue Cash Jr. seemingly should have made things better for Jack, but again we go back to the switching quarterback situation and things went down hill. Whether it's the NFL, ISFL, or the DSFL the mantra that says "if you have two quarterbacks, you don't have one" certainly rang true in London this season.

While the team did finish 7-7 and lost in the first round of the playoffs, the team's success can not be put on the shoulders of Colby Jack. As the most tenured quarterback in the DSFL, Jack led the league in interceptions with thirteen and only counteracted that with eight passing touchdowns. Colby's QBR was also dismal at 61.3% while only completing 52% of his passes for 1921 yards. On the ground Jack added 63 total yards and one rushing touchdown on the season.

In Colby's rookie season, he and the Yellowknife Wraiths had a tough go at things! Starting 4 rookies on the offensive side of the ball, the team expected to be in a bit of a rebuilding stage for sure! However, what the team did not expect was to go 6-10 during Colby's inaugural season. The team did start out somewhat hot going 4-2 in their first 6 games and the main reason behind that was the play of Colby Jack with his new favorite target and fellow rookie Kai Sakura. Through those first 6 games together Jack and Sakura hooked up 6 times for touchdown passes and looked to be an unstoppable duo. However as the season progressed the team as a whole slowed down and the offense sputtered in multiple games. Showing life here and there, the Wraiths would unfortunately only win 2 games after week 6 and those came against the Secondline and in the last game of the season against the Baltimore Hawks.
 +

 +
The best game of the season for Colby probably was their meeting with Arizona where Jack threw for 320 yards and 4 touchdowns with 1 interception. Another game that could be close would be the last game of the season against Baltimore where Jack showed his versatility with 301 yards passing and 63 yards rushing.
 +

 +
Also, in their first match up ever as ISFL quarterbacks the brothers Jack put on a show, but it was certainly Monty who had the best day going 15/29 for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns when the Sabercats routed the Wraiths at home 28-3, while in route to their eventual Ultimus winning season. The Jack vs Jack saga continues!

While Colby Jack will be returning to the London Royals for at least a second season to refine his skills, he does know where he will be playing his NSFL football already. He was drafted in the second round of the NSFL draft at pick 22 overall and will be the man in charge of replacing the great Cooter Bigsby for the Yellowknife Wraiths in a few seasons. Colby Jack (born August 19, 1915) was an American football quarterback for the London Royals of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL) and the Yellowknife Wraiths of the ISFL. He played college football for Oregon (ORE) before going undrafted in the 2031 ISFL Draft (S16).

Early years

Colby Jack was born alongside his twin brother Monterey "Monty" Jack in the town of Kyle, Oregon on March 10th, 1998. From the get go the two young men competed relentlessly! Colby's father, Cheddar Jack, would always say "my children don't need anyone else to compete, because they push themselves to be better than one another!" Over time the two boys grew and folks quickly started to realize that they were not your normal children. Both Colby and Monty starting playing football at the age of 8 years old and it was very hard to distinguish which of the two were more talented. Each of the boys had a cannon for an arm with the only difference being that Colby was the faster of the two. Sure Monty could run if absolutely necessary, but Colby was electric when it was time to run the football.

College career

When it came time to commit to a university, Colby knew exactly where he wanted to go and because of his athletic prowess in high school he was awarded a full ride to the University of Oregon where he would start all 4 years. During his freshman campaign the Colby was not really able to use his dual threat ability due to the offense that was being run by the coaching staff, however he was still able to throw for 1936 yards while rushing for 560. He totaled 19 passing touchdowns and 13 rushing touchdowns in his freshman year. Although Jack was doing well in the system, the team was only able to go 2-8 on the season.

During his sophomore season, things turned around exponentially when the team went 6-2 with Jack under the helm. He did however miss a few games that season with an ankle injury. Oregon did reach a bowl game that season but unfortunately lost to Boise State. In Colby's sophomore season he accounted for 2800 yards of offense (1840 passing and 960 rushing) with 23 total touchdowns.

His junior season is when Colby really became recognized on the national scene, when he won the Heisman trophy after completing a stellar campaign. During that season, the Ducks went 9-4 and eventually beat Michigan State in a New Year's Eve bowl game. What won the Heisman trophy for Colby was his play on the field consisting of 3543 passing yards for 30 touchdowns and 1571 rushing for another 21 touchdowns. These number were simply eye popping and that put him front and center on the national stage.

DSFL Career

Year 1 - In his first full season, Colby Jack was drafted number 2 overall and became the first ever Quarterback for the newly formed London Royals.

While Colby Jack will be returning to the London Royals for at least a second season to refine his skills, he does know where he will be playing his NSFL football already. Somewhat of Jimmy G situation in New England, except this time around the Wraiths won't be trading him away for a 4th round pick!

Year 3 -

Well year 3 in the DSFL was not the most exciting of times for Colby Jack as he played his last season for the London Royals. Splitting time with the future quarterback of the Royals just did not work out for Colby as it seemed to consistently screw up any rhythm that may have been there the year before. Another game that could be close would be the last game of the season against Baltimore where Jack showed his versatility with 301 yards passing and 63 yards rushing.
