Season 7
 +
Being top prospect, against usual expectations of the waiver pickup, many anticipated that Fyodorovich will be quick off the board in the 7 draft and so it happened when back then 3-time champions Orange County Otters drafted him with the 3rd Overall Pick. He signed three years rookie deal for an estimated value of $10M.

 +
His rookie seasons was decent even though he played mostly out of position as Nickelback and was able to reach the Ultimus for the first time, falling ultimately short to the Philadelphia Liberty.

Season 8
 +
Before 8 season started he was traded to the NOLA alongside the OCO S8 1st Round for Safety Jaylon Broxton. While this move was hugely anticipated it surprised Russian Cornerback and left a sour taste in his mouth.
 +

 +
In his sophomore campaign, he was finally able to get his first interception in the 13th game of the season against San Jose Sabercats. Once again won with his team the ASFC, beating his former team, but this time in the Ultimus game losing to the Yellowknife Wraiths.
 +

 +
Season 9
 +
After losing last season Vladimir entered the final year of his rookie contract, making him eligible for the extension. He felt like he was in the right place, so he decided to extend for three more years on minimum deal . Individually it was yet another disappointing campaign with just one interception and a significant drop in both deflected passes and tackles.
 +

 +
NOLA in Season 9 was a real powerhouse that steamrolled through opposition, both in the regular season and in the playoffs, which granted the first Ultimus title for the young Defensive Back.
 +

 +
Season 10
 +
10 started on a high note and brought a lot of hope for the continuing of the Cornerback career - in the first game of the Regular Season he established the franchise record of 3 interceptions in one game against Philadelphia Liberty. Unfortunately, it was the only interceptions he got that season and after the frustrating rest of year, including the lost Ultimus of 11 in the rematch with Baltimore Hawks he decided to opt-out of his deal and test the waters during the Free Agency.
 +

 +
It was during these talks, where all teams expressed interest, that he decided that he won't be playing purely as a defensive back and heavily considered the radical position switch to the Quarterback, but settled to the position he guarded so far in his career - Wide Receiver. Yet again he signed the player-friendly extension with the Second Line.

But yeah, summarise each season in this bit. Just a quick overview. Nothing too in-depth. If something major happened, like the multi scandal, or the incorrect TPE stuff, it's probably worth having a separate article for those kinds of things.-->
+
Season 11
After his gruesome injury and painful rehab Vladimir Fyodorovich decided to join the ranks of National Simulation Football League in 6 via DSFL waivers.
+

Many teams showed his interest in rather unknown before player hoping to unleash his potential. The one lucky team that was able to claim him thanks to the draft waivers order was Marshals. They went on a title run, also with big contributions from their newly acquired cornerback, who earned along the way his nickname - "Siberian Swatter".
+
Slotted as #1 Receiver he was able to get past 1000 receiving yards in his first season as Wide Receiver, simultaneously playing his old role at the defensive side. It was a certainly exhausting experience, but he was finally happy with his results on the field, first time in the NSFL career.

Many anticipated that Fyodorovich will be quick off the board in the 7 draft and so it happened when back then 3-time champions Orange County Otters drafted him with the 3rd Overall Pick.
+
New Orleans team was able to secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs and after eliminating Otter County Otters in ASFC finals for the 4th time in the row they faced against season favorites Baltimore Hawks. It was the greatest game of Fyodorovich career, in which he got 4 total touchdowns - 3 receiving and punt return touchdown en route to an overtime victory.

His rookie seasons was decent even though he played mostly out of position as Nickelback and was able to reach the Ultimus for the first time, falling ultimately short to the Philadelphia Liberty.
+
Season 12
 +
Vladimir Fyodorovich returned once again to the town of New Orleans to bring the Third Ultimus title to the Big Easy. Individually he didn't regret that decision, because it was his best professional season and one of the most impressive ones by the Wide Receiver in league history - he became one of 3 WR to get over 1600 rushing yards and only one in the modern era, since last person that achieved Top 10 season result (>= 1587 yards) was Bradley Westfield in 7, coincidentally only season Vlad played in the Orange County. For his efforts that also included 10 Touchdowns he was awarded with NSFL S12 Offensive Player of the Year and NSFL S12 Wide Receiver Award, both the only time in his career.
 +
It wasn't all flowers and sunshine, since after winning three titles and 6 conference titles in a row it was first time Fyodorovich missed the postseason, as the NOLA core aged and many crucial players retired.

Before 8 season started he was traded to the NOLA alongside the OCO S8 1st Round for Safety Jaylon Broxton. While this move was hugely anticipated it surprised Russian Cornerback and left a sour taste in his mouth.
+
Seasons 13-16
 +
Before start of the 13 Fyodorovich agreed to (at the time thought to be) lifetime extension that would keep him in the Crescent City till planned retirement in S18. He continued his role of WR 1 he started in 11 until 16, while also continuing as main punt & kick returner for the team.
 +
Vladimir displayed continued excellence at his position earning Pro Bowl nod in every season from 11 to 16 while finishing respectively 4th, 1st, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd & 7th in Receiving yards in those years. Still, while he was a top player at his position those were difficult years for the team going through transition period, where they lacked draft assets to become competitive and with more key players ending their careers Second Line missed the postseason in all those seasons. Even though he had No Trade Clause in his contract, he remained open to being traded but nothing ever materialized, as he stabilized and was no longer as much of a headache with all drama being involved in as early in his career.

In his sophomore campaign, he was finally able to get his first interception in the 13th game of the season against San Jose Sabercats. Once again reached won the ASFC, beating his former team, but this time in the Ultimus game losing to the Yellowknife Wraiths.
+
Seasons 17-19
 +
17 was the last one where the league could witness prime Fyodo and he was still WR1 on rebuilding NOLA team that finished once again at the bottom of the league with 4-9 record. This was also his final, 8th (7th as WR) Pro Bowl appearance and the last time he served as a kick returner for the franchise. S18 was a decline, yet not an overly sharp one as he was still WR2/3 and the team overall slightly improved to 5-8 record, which wasn't enough to make playoffs. He finished the year with 802 yards with 5 touchdowns. He decided to return for one final season to get to his dream of 10000 receiving yards as he needed just 258 before the season started to get there. This goal was always in his mind ever since switching positions, as something rather unachievable in just 8 seasons he had left at the time, thankfully timely rule change allowed him one final run at it. It wasn't until the final game that year vs Baltimore Hawks until he hit that mark with 2 catches for a total of 40 receiving yards and his last regular-season touchdown. It wasn't his last game tough as NOLA qualified for the postseason after 7 season drought. In wild card game against Austin, he reminded about his past postseason heroics with 2 TD game that was crucial in getting to ASFC were Second Line ultimately fallen short against Orange County Otters. It was the final game of his career, as he announced retirement already, prior to Season 19 trade deadline.

Vladimir Fyodorovich the "Siberian Swatter" (born February 17, 1998) was a American football Cornerback for the New Orleans Second Line of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL). He played college football for Villanova before entering the professional ranks in 2022.

Early years

Vladimir Fyodorovich was born in Yakutsk in the cold Siberia. Like many out there he didn't have the easiest childhood but always had a knack for team games, and while hockey was the most popular sport out there he loved playing on the grass fields. So it happened that he attended unfamous Yakutsk School Number 16, but took this as an opportunity and learned both Korean and English with his time there also being able to master taekwondo.

As many Russians, he had a family in the States and when the opportunity showed up he immediately took it and enrolled at Villanova.

College career

Fyodorovich wasn't a perfect example of a college kid and had a huge problem adapting to the new scenery. Even though he was superbly agile and swift it took a long time before football coach took a shot at him.

As a true freshman and sophomore, he was only sitting on the bench. Game of football was still new to him and that time was needed for him to grasp even the basics. In his junior, he finally made his debut, but it was long after the season was already over for Villanova in the last game at the Cornerback position. He swore that his junior is going to be different and spent his whole free time learning the intricate details of playing as a defensive back. Then when his time was finally supposed to happen in the third game of the college season he tore his ACL, ending his hopes at least for that year. Even though his career was short lived he never benefited immensely from being in the system.

Season 6

After his gruesome injury and painful rehab Vladimir Fyodorovich decided to join the ranks of National Simulation Football League in 2021 (S6) via DSFL waivers.

Season 7

Being top prospect, against usual expectations of the waiver pickup, many anticipated that Fyodorovich will be quick off the board in the 2022 (S7) draft and so it happened when back then 3-time champions Orange County Otters drafted him with the 3rd Overall Pick. He signed three years rookie deal for an estimated value of $10M[1].

His rookie seasons was decent even though he played mostly out of position as Nickelback and was able to reach the Ultimus for the first time, falling ultimately short to the Philadelphia Liberty.

Season 8

Before 2023 (S8) season started he was traded[2] to the NOLA alongside the OCO S8 1st Round for Safety Jaylon Broxton. While this move was hugely anticipated it surprised Russian Cornerback and left a sour taste in his mouth.

In his sophomore campaign, he was finally able to get his first interception in the 13th game of the season against San Jose Sabercats. Once again won with his team the ASFC, beating his former team, but this time in the Ultimus game losing to the Yellowknife Wraiths.

Season 9

After losing last season Vladimir entered the final year of his rookie contract, making him eligible for the extension. He felt like he was in the right place, so he decided to extend for three more years on minimum deal [3]. Individually it was yet another disappointing campaign with just one interception and a significant drop in both deflected passes and tackles.

NOLA in Season 9 was a real powerhouse that steamrolled through opposition, both in the regular season and in the playoffs, which granted the first Ultimus title for the young Defensive Back.

Season 10

2025 (S10) started on a high note and brought a lot of hope for the continuing of the Cornerback career - in the first game of the Regular Season he established the franchise record of 3 interceptions in one game against Philadelphia Liberty. Unfortunately, it was the only interceptions he got that season and after the frustrating rest of year, including the lost Ultimus of 2026 (S11) in the rematch with Baltimore Hawks he decided to opt-out of his deal and test the waters during the Free Agency[4].

It was during these talks, where all teams expressed interest, that he decided that he won't be playing purely as a defensive back and heavily considered the radical position switch to the Quarterback, but settled to the position he guarded so far in his career - Wide Receiver. Yet again he signed the player-friendly extension with the Second Line[5].

Season 11

Vladimir Fyodorovich received NSFL S11 Performance of the Year Award for his performance in a Ultimus Game

Slotted as #1 Receiver he was able to get past 1000 receiving yards in his first season as Wide Receiver, simultaneously playing his old role at the defensive side. It was a certainly exhausting experience, but he was finally happy with his results on the field, first time in the NSFL career.

New Orleans team was able to secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs and after eliminating Otter County Otters in ASFC finals for the 4th time in the row they faced against season favorites Baltimore Hawks. It was the greatest game of Fyodorovich career, in which he got 4 total touchdowns - 3 receiving and punt return touchdown en route to an overtime victory.[6]

Season 12

FyodoS12OPotY.png

Vladimir Fyodorovich returned once again to the town of New Orleans to bring the Third Ultimus title to the Big Easy. Individually he didn't regret that decision, because it was his best professional season and one of the most impressive ones by the Wide Receiver in league history - he became one of 3 WR to get over 1600 rushing yards and only one in the modern era, since last person that achieved Top 10 season result (>= 1587 yards) was Bradley Westfield in 2022 (S7), coincidentally only season Vlad played in the Orange County. For his efforts that also included 10 Touchdowns he was awarded with NSFL S12 Offensive Player of the Year and NSFL S12 Wide Receiver Award, both the only time in his career.

It wasn't all flowers and sunshine, since after winning three titles and 6 conference titles in a row it was first time Fyodorovich missed the postseason, as the NOLA core aged and many crucial players retired.

Seasons 13-16

Before start of the 2028 (S13) Fyodorovich agreed to (at the time thought to be) lifetime extension that would keep him in the Crescent City till planned retirement in S18[7]. He continued his role of WR 1 he started in 2026 (S11) until 2031 (S16), while also continuing as main punt & kick returner for the team.

Vladimir Fyodorovich received NSFL S14 Returner of the Year Award for his performance in S14 with 1277 Kick Return yards and 253 Punt Return Yards

Vladimir displayed continued excellence at his position earning Pro Bowl nod in every season from 2026 (S11) to 2031 (S16) while finishing respectively 4th, 1st, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd & 7th in Receiving yards in those years.

Seasons 17-19

2032 (S17) was the last one where the league could witness prime Fyodo and he was still WR1 on rebuilding NOLA team that finished once again at the bottom of the league with 4-9 record.
