ISFL season 6 (also referred to as the 2021 NSFL season) began on 26 September, 2021. The season concluded with Ultimus Bowl VI on 23 January, 2022, where the Orange County Otters were crowned ISFL champions after defeating the Philadelphia Liberty by a score of 17-23.

Player movements

The league year began in March of 2021, with teams allowed to contact and enter negotiations with players whose contracts were not yet extended beyond the end of the 2020 ISFL season.

Draft

The 2021 ISFL Draft was held on 11 April, 2021. The New Orleans Second Line selected Linebacker Brian Mills with the first overall pick.

Preseason

Postseason

The 2021 ISFL playoffs consisted of two rounds; with two conference championships – contested by the winner and runner up of each conference. The winners of the conference championship games then played in Ultimus Bowl VI.
