Heading into the S48 ISFL draft, Seer Ial was most commonly mocked to go to the Austin Copperheads at pick 3. As it turns out, Ial did end up with the Copperheads, but they actually traded down from pick 3 to pick 6, still landing Seer Ial and adding a 2nd round pick which would turn into Safety Rocket Ride. Ial was thrilled to land in Austin, as he immediately was able to step in as a starter from day 1. Austin employed a three-headed receiver ménage à trois amongst Ial, the retiring Delores Bickerman, and the converted Running Back Soul King Brook. Seer Ial was impressive in his debut season, leading all rookies with 106 receptions while also putting up 966 yards and 6 touchdowns. Ironically enough, fellow rookie teammate Soul King Brook also put up 966 yards and 6 touchdowns, albeit on just 92 receptions. Ial was just one of two S48 wide receiver draftees to play in the ISFL this season, and he was by far the most productive. Seer Ial started off the season strong, catching 8 passes for 90 yards in his debut in a home win against the New York Silverbacks. He followed that up with his first career touchdown against the Orange County Otters the following week. Ial best performance of the season came in week 8, as he had 88 yards and scored the go ahead touchdown with 1:04 left on the clock in a 26-25 win over the Sarasota Sailfish. His favorite game though came in week 15, as he put up a career high 96 yards against Roque Cotswald in a 24-17 victory against the Honolulu Hahalua. Ial considers Cotswald his sworn nemesis, and anytime he can get one over on him is a career achievement in his eyes.

Seer Ial (born April 20, 2040) is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the Austin Copperheads. He played college football for Apoctopia College and played one season in the DSFL for the Bondi Beach Buccaneers.

Early years

Seer Ial was born and raised in Salem, Massachusettes by his parents Triv and Celest. He has two siblings: an older brother named Ax and a younger sister named Millen. Ial attended Apoctopia High School, where he was a three sport athlete, playing football, basketball, and tennis. While he was middling at best in both basketball and tennis, Ial became a star on the football field. Although his size left him on the sidelines early in his football career, his speed really let him take off in his final two seasons. As a Junior he made his mark at Wide Receiver, catching 31 passes for 788 yards and 7 touchdowns. It was his Senior year that really put him on the map though as he caught 72 passes for a ridiculous 1747 yards and 31 touchdowns. He was named top receiver in the league and received multiple scholarship offers. Ultimately, Ial decided to stay local and chose to attend Apoctopia College, following in the footsteps of his older brother.

College career

As a true freshman, Ial was utilized as more of a gadget type player and occassional deep threat. It wasn't until his sophomore year where Ial began to get more regular playing time, often lining up in the slot in three receiver sets. While he made some big plays at times, he was still seen more as the backup plan on most plays, and was often on the bench in short yardage situations. Ial finally secured a full time starting spot as a junior, and he did not disappoint, catching 61 passes for 1,107 yards and 9 touchdowns. He had his true breakout though as a senior, snagging 77 passes for 1,467 yards and 15 touchdowns. Sadly the team as a whole was not the most successful during his run, as his senior season's 8-6 record was the school's best during his tenure. Still, his speed spoke for himself, and Ial drew many scouts to the games as the season wore on.

Heading into the S47 DSFL draft, Seer Ial received a lot of pre-draft hype. Scouts were salivating over his strong work ethic, blazing speed, and professional attitude. The hype proved to be legitimate as Ial was the first offensive player off the board, drafted 3rd overall to the Bondi Beach Buccaneers. He was a day one starter for the Buccaneers, slotting in as the 2nd wide receiver next to Meo Stickyhands-McGee. Bondi Beach hoped that Ial could help bring them back to the playoffs after a five season drought, and things started off on the right foot out the gate. Seer Ial and the Buccaneers put the league on notice in week 1 with a strong victory against the Tijuana Luchadores. Ial had a statement game, catching 5 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. Bondi Beach started the season strong with a 4-1 record before ultimately landing at 7-7 when all things were said and done. Still, that was enough to take the 2nd seed in the South and earn that playoff spot that the Buccaneers coveted from the start. This led them to yet another matchup with Tijuana (whom they had lost to the week prior in overtime). Bondi Beach put up a hell of a fight, and Seer Ial had the best game of his career, setting career highs with 7 catches, 139 yards, and a touchdown. Sadly, the Buccaneers couldn’t keep up and lost 27-21, ending their season.
