Juran Riley (born November 5, 2037) is an American football linebacker for the Orange County Otters. He played college football for University of Colorado and in the DSFL for the Dallas Birddogs.

Early years

"Juran Riley was born in May, 2037 in Colorado to two parents, Jarell and Sophia Riley. His father Jarell played Division 3 football, before he transferred as a JUCO prospect to play at UCLA as a cornerback. He had very little buzz as a professional player, and played in Canada for a few years before retiring early to start his business career in the robust aerospace industry in ;Colorado. Juran's mother Sophia moved to the US as a baby, and played soccer professionally for the LA Galaxy's women's team. She also had a dozen caps for Italy's national team. Riley had played both soccer and football his entire life, and excelled at both before finally coming to a point where he chose football. He leaned towards football because of the fact that he really grew into his 6'3"" frame in a way his father never did. After getting all state honors in both sports his first two high school seasons, he settled for football in his last two. He was the Gatorade player of the year in Colorado as a senior, and was a 5 Star prospect. He eventually chose the university of Colorado in Boulder, a team riding a lot of momentum and success in late 40s and early 50s. "

College career

As a very hyped 5 star prospect, Riley earned a starting Edge spot midway through his freshman year. The Buffaloes had a young team, but finished the season in the top 25 at 21st. Riley flashed as a situational pass rusher, finishing with 4 sacks. As a sophomore, the Buffaloes entered the season with more hype and an elite Sophomore duo on offense at QB and WR, along with a talented defense. Riley took a big step as a 3 down edge rusher, and finished the season with 9 sacks and 6 TFLs. The Buffaloes started slow but finished hot, and had a top 10 finish, though they just missed the CFB playoffs. Entering his junior season, the Buffaloes were viewed as a top 4 contender for the title. Their offense was electric, the defense was filled with elite talent and athletes. Riley was one of the anchors and voted as defensive team captain prior to the season. Riley and Colorado did not disappoint. Riley finished the season with a whopping 14 sacks, and 16 TFLs. He also had 2 interceptions and forced a fumble. He finished the season as linebacker of the year, and the Buffaloes made their 3rd ever national championship, winning their first two. Unfortunately, the buffaloes lost this one but Riley tallied a sack, two TFLs, and 6 total pressure on the brightest stage. After the game, he immediately declared for the DSFL draft.

DSFL career

Linebacker Juran Riley was picked up on dsfl waivers by the Tijuana Luchadores. He started for the playoff bound Luchas, who eventually made it to the dsfl championship against the Portland Pythons. Riley was now in 2 title games in much less than calendar year. Unfortunately this title went the same as the college national championship, and Riley was on the losing side again.
