Savathûn The Witchqueen (born June 6, 2025) is an American football kicker who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. She played college football for The High Coven and has declared her intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Savathûn was born Sathona, on the planet Fundament, and was the middle child of three sisters. Their father, the Osmium King, kept a football he had found on the shore as a familiar, and listened to it when it warned him of impending doom. The older he got and the more he listened to the football, the further he spiraled into insanity. The sisters' mother figure Taox (not really their mother, kind of a nanny, it's complicated) believed that the king was soon to die and his daughters were not capable of ruling after him, so she betrayed them to a rival kingdom who assassinated the king and would have killed the sisters as well had they not escaped, Sathona taking with her the sacred football of the king. After that, the three of them swore to exact vengeance in whatever manner they could. Sathona found herself bonding with the football more and more. After a journey to the core of their planet, Sathona and her siblings made a pact with the worm gods there; they agreed to become symbiotic hosts for the worm gods and to spread the worm larvae amongst their people. In exchange, the worm gods gave them immortality and new, more powerful forms. Sathona took on the new form given to her by the worm gods, and became known as Savathûn.

College career

When Savathûn's sibling Oryx (formerly her sister, but having taken on a new male form given in the pact with the worm gods) established his own court to study sword logic, Savathûn had the idea to create her own court, the High Coven, where she began to practice many things, among them galactic conquest, destruction, and kicking the sacred football great distances (at the football's urging, as it believed this practice would hone her skills and make her stronger). There are many additional adventures involving Savathûn and her siblings, but none of them are especially relevant to her career as a kicker and/or punter in professional football. Savathûn originally had her heart set on conquering the universe on behalf of the Hive, but with the input of the football and her growing skills at kicking it, she shifted her focus to infiltrating Earth under the guise of pursuing a career as a professional athlete, employing the use of her special knowledge of black holes and time dilation to travel to a time before the Collapse and the arrival of the Traveler, a time when humanity was primarily focused on frivolities such as football and not on pursuits like space travel and exploring the universe. She hopes to gain valuable knowledge about humanity that she can use to combat the oncoming darkness and defeat humanity itself at a later time.
