Russell Jimmies (born August 8, 2038) is an American football quarterback for the Kansas City Coyotes of the DSFL. He played college football for University of Cincinnati (UC) before being drafted in the 5th round by the Kansas City Coyotes in the Season 46 DSFL Draft.

Early years

Born in the suburbs of Cincinnati to renown Wildlife experts Randall and Felicia Jimmies, Russell travelled the world from a young age. At the age of 4, Russell was briefly lost during an expedition in the Congo. After a multiple day search, he was found with a troop of mountain gorillas. During the days missing, it is believed that Russell was cared for by the gorillas. When the searching party found him, he was handed over without a struggle, although reports say you could see tears welling in the eyes of the troops members. At the age of 8, Russell's parents knew he was not only gifted intellectually, but physically as well. He was soon enrolled in the Cincinnati School for Gifted Children where he would excel in academics and athletics. After leading the school to multiple state titles, Jimmies declared his intent to play for the University of Cincinnati.

College career

Russell Jimmies is an American Football quarterback who formerly played for the University of Cincinnati Bearcats. After his senior season in high school, Jimmies was a highly recruited prospect. Touted as a a pocket passer with size, athleticism and toughness to call his own number in run game and be a chain mover, he had offers from Alabama, USC, Miami, Harvard, Princeton, and Yale. Ultimately, he chose to commit to his home town team, the Cincinnati Bearcats. After redshirting as a freshman, Jimmies was positioned to battle for the starting job during his sophomore season. During spring training, however, he rustled too many jimmies and was excused from the team. During this tough time, Russell Jimmies failed to latch on to another team. 2061 (S46)

Russell Jimmies was drafted in the 5th round of the Developmental Simulation Football League draft to the Kansas City Coyotes with plans to back up incumbent veteran quarterback Lenard McRobinson and eventually take over the reigns as the teams starting quarterback. The season began with turmoil, however, as McRobinson struggled to play to the teams (and fans) expectations and starting the season 0-3. Attitude issues and character concerns started to arise from the locker room about McRobinson as many around the team felt he had given up on the Coyotes and had been eyeing his ISFL debut. This led to the "Let Russ Cook" movement, with the team clamoring for Jimmies to get the starting job after showing flashes of excellence when his name was called during those first several games. Despite winning the next two games, bringing the Coyotes to a 2-3 record, the front office had officially made a move. McRobinson would be called up to the tanking Honolulu Hahalua and Russell Jimmies would lead the Coyotes the rest of the season. After some ups and downs, Jimmies couldn't finish the job and failed to make the playoffs, going 5-4 as a starter. Jimmies would finish his inaugural season with generally rough statistics, completing just 50% of his passes with a rating of 83.7 (last and 8th place in the league respectively). A bright spot for the young rookie was his ability to protect the football, throwing only 9 interceptions and accounting for 2 fumbles on the season. With complete control of the QB room, the dual threat quarterback looks to improve for next season and bring the Coyotes back to the Ultimini.
