Reggie Battle (born April 9, 2038) is an American football wide receiver who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Missouri (Mizzou) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

"Reggie Battle was born in downtown St. Louis to Raymond and Gloria Battle. Raymond was an assistant football coach at a local highschool, and later landed a job at Mizzou, causing the family to move towards Columbia. As a kid, Reggie grew up around football and the college players his father coached. He played football from as early as he could enroll in little league, playing a multitude of positions.

During High School, Battle played his freshman year primarily at QB and RB as the team was unsure of where his talents were best suited. During his sophomore season, Battle played exclusively RB on the varsity team. However, a transfer student came in to take the starting position, as he was the #4 RB prospect in Missouri. Because of this, Battle transitioned to WR and found his true calling, helping to lead his team to a dominant two seasons. In his final game of his high school career, Battle broke his schools all time receiving record. Although they would lose at the state tournament, Battle was recognized as one of the top prospects in the country. "

College career

"Battle received mulitple collegiate offers, but chose to stay home and play for his fathers Tigers. As a true freshman, Battle did not start on the team and mostly rode the bench. It wasn't until his sophomore season that he saw his first snap, and had a solid season that saw him as the #2 receiving option at Mizzou.

Junior season was his breakout year, where he quickly showcased his talents in the slot. During the season, he broke the Mizzou single game receiving yard record when he recorded 242 yards, and by the midway point in the season he was touted as a top prospect across all of collegiate football. Unfortunately, a season ending ACL tear cut his talents short after the midway point through the season. During his final season in college, Battle missed the first two games due to his lingering injury. Although he would perform well in games he was able to play, he suffered minor injurious throughout the season that often took him out towards the end of the 4th quarter. These injury risks plagued Battle's scouting report, and many dismissed his talents due to his inability to stay on the field."
