Oliver O'Conner (born December 26, 2031) is an American football wide receiver who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Southern California (USC) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

"O'Conner was born in Los Angeles, California to Mia Toretto and Brian O'Conner. He lived with his parents, his older brother Jack, and his extended family, which consisted of his uncle Dominic, his aunt Letty, and his cousin Brian Marcos. His family were some of the top street racers in the world, and even helped stopped international crimes, especially with the help of his father, who was also an ex-cop. However, that would all soon come to an end when at the age of 10, his father was killed in a car accident. After his father's death, his family told him that for his safety, he would not participate in the family business, and he would have to choose another career path besides racing.

When he became a freshman at Los Angeles High School, he knew that he still wanted to do a sport, but he didn't know the exact sport he wanted to play. This caused him to play a lot of sports, but his favorite sports were baseball, basketball, cross country, football, soccer, swimming, and track and field. Even though he was good at all of these sports, when he was a junior, he had to pick one sport that he would eventually go to college for. He approached his family and asked him for advice on what he should pick, and they told him to follow his heart. At this point, he narrowed the sports that he was in to baseball, cross country, football, swimming, and track and field, but he had to pick one for college purposes. Eventually, he settled with football, as he loved being able to make insane catches and plays. During his senior year, he ended up committing to USC, one of the better WRUs and a hometown college for him."

College career

"When he entered his first year at USC, Oliver was placed as WR4 on the depth chart, with the three receivers ahead of him being seniors. This meant that he did not play a single snap of football in his Freshman season.

During his Sophmore season, he was promoted on the depth chart to WR2, since USC got a senior transfer for the starting wide receiver role. Since USC wanted the senior to be as appealing in the upcoming NFL draft as possible, this not only caused the rest of the receivers to not get as many yards, but it also allowed for opposing teams to figure out the Trojans' strategy. This caused the Trojans to not make the Big Ten Conference playoffs with a 3-9 overall record and a 3-6 conference record. This also caused Oliver to not have good stats and have what is considered to be his worst season in his college football career, getting 23 receptions for 387 yards and 2 touchdowns.

What is considered to be his best college football season was in his Junior year, where he was finally given the starting wide receiver role. He showed the coaching staff his gratitude by having a very successful season with 42 receptions for 1,475 yards and 19 touchdowns. His performance helped push the Trojans to an 11-1 overall record and a 9-0 conference record, as well as winning both the Big Ten Conference Championship and the National Championship. The National Championship ended up being the first for USC since 2004, as well as being the first team to win both the Big Ten Conference Championship and the National Championship since Ohio State did it in 2014.

In his last season of college football, he was still the starting wide receiver for USC, but his performance dropped due to the offense going for a more run-heavy style, which was caused by the 3rd QB change in 4 seasons, this time being a newly recruited Freshman who could only make short passes. This also caused the Trojans to not be as good, as even though they still had a 9-0 conference record and won the Big Ten Confernece Championship for the second year in a row, their overall record dropped to 9-3 and they were knocked out of the playoffs in the second round. Oliver also did not have a good season statwise, as he had only 27 receptions for 677 yards and 5 touchdowns.

After he graduated from USC, he decided to declare for the NFL draft. However, even though he did amazing in the NFL Combine, nobody wanted to draft him since his stats on paper were too inconsistent throughout all of his 4 years at USC. "

During the first three games of the Prospect Bowl, Oliver O'Conner did surprisingly well, as he had 21 receptions for 349 yards, which placed him 2nd amongst receivers in both receptions and receiving yards. This is surprising as he did have a fumble and a drop in his second game of the Prospect Bowl against the Cyprus Ceras, which didn't hurt the Reykjavik Rexes too bad as he was able to recover the fumble, which allowed for the Rexes to continue having possession of the ball. What is also surprising is that in the first three games, he was very heavily used in kick returns, as he was 1st amongst returners in returning yards with 125. This is surprising because in college, he was not used a lot on kick returns. However, after all nine games have been played, it does appear that he seemed to not be used as much as he did in the first three games. This is because he is 10th amongst receivers in receptions with 46 and 11th amongst receivers in receiving yards with 652. He also was not used as much on kick returns either as he is tied for 3rd amongst returners in kick returns with 26 and 5th amongst returners in returning yards with 467.
