Nep Nep-Nep Neppy (born May 9, 2022) is an American football defensive tackle who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for the University of California (UCLA) and has declared his intention to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Nep Neppy was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. He was the son of the legendary Richard Knox who is considered one of the best sumo wrestlers. Richard wanted his son to follow in his footsteps so at the age of 7 he started being trained in sumo wrestling and began competing in junior competitions at the age of 10. Nep Neppy would quickly grow into prominence winning several junior competitions. Then it was written by the Japan times that Neppy would surpass his father when he would eventually join the adult competition. In 2038 a huge controversy would occur when Nep Neppy pushed his opponent Eren Tojo off the stage and fell headfirst. Tojo was able to survive but his injuries were severe with total paralyzation for the rest of his life. Neppy received serious backlash from the media and fans alike and was eventually barred from wrestling again in the sumo federation. The worst outcome for Nep came when he was banished from his family after graduating from Ohashi High School because he dishonored the family and losing the Knox family name as a result and going as Nep Neppy going forward.

College career

With Nep Neppy losing his destiny with sumo wrestling and nowhere else to turn to he was at a loss at what to do next. A chance of luck happened for Neppy when UCLA head coach Jim Rhodes happened to be a huge sumo fan and relished at the idea of having a freak of his size on his team. Nepy was thus offered a scholarship from UCLA and accepted right away. An early issue for the UCLA staff was finding a way for the then 700 pounder to cross the ocean and since planes were out of the question at his size Nep Neppy had to take a two-week journey of hoping from seaport to seaport till he got to UCLA. Nep Neppy's first two seasons were a total waste with him playing 0 snaps for the Bruins because his conditioning was so bad at his size he was seen as unplayable. Through the hard work of the training programs, he was put through he was finally able to get on the field and make a huge impact. In Nep Neppy's junior season he was able to regirester 15 sacks, 50 tackles, 1 INT and 3 froced fumbles which was able to earn him first team honors in the Pac-12. Neppy was even able to have an even better season in his senior year when he was able to record 17 sacks, 59 tackles, 1 INT, and 5 forced fumbles and again winning all team honors. Nep Neppy is seen as one of the best D-lineman in UCLA history and a big reason for his success was him using his prior sumo knowledge to quickly move lineman with relative ease. He is now honored by the bruins with the sumo section at home games .
