Nacho Davis (born February 1, 2007) is an American football tight end who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Florida (UF) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Nacho Davis was born the the child of Enchilada and Meredith Davis. His family was known locally for having a series of very successful Mexican Food based establishments. His father gained some notoriety for insisting that the whole realm of Mexican cuisine as we know it is due to his family, this claim has been widely lambasted since his families roots trace back almost exclusively to Germany. Born a child somewhat in the spotlight and not always for the right reasons made things a little difficult for Nacho. Where as his siblings Gordita and Baja Blast were top students and culinary wizards pretty much from the time they were born, Nacho struggled mightily. His grades were poor, he was always in trouble, and truthfully he much preferred Italian food. Enrolling Nacho in private school, getting him personal tutors, his parents were desperate to put Nacho on the right path. That path just ended up being a little different than they expected.

Nacho was a massive human early on and was pretty hard to miss. During his first day at school a boy four years older than him thought it would be a good idea to pick a fight with the new kid. The issue was as the boy went to take a swing Nacho ducked and pile-drived the boy into the ground. The football coach happened to see it and quickly spirited Nacho away. The rest was history. Nacho quickly became a highly touted recruit and his parents eventually began to accept cooking may not be his future. When UF offered him a scholarship his Junior year of High School it was a no brainer. His overbearing parents also quickly set up a franchise in Gainesville.

College career

The transition to College wasn't as smooth as Nacho expected. School was harder, the other players just as big and talented, and temptation was abound. He ended up redshirting his Freshman season after not making weight and came close to being kicked off the team. Some tough love from his teammates got his head right though and he burst onto the season as Redshirt Freshman. He won the starting job over a talented senior and ended up making the Freshman All-American team. Still not the sharpest tool in the shed, Nacho made up for it with hard work and raw athleticism. He saw time at FB as well an extra Tackle due to his solid blocking technique. The Gators had meager results but Nacho put himself as a player to watch.

His Sophomore season proved just as productive. Snagging 13 TD receptions and furthering his dominance as a blocker Nacho was a finalist for the Mackey and led his team to an Orange Bowl Berth. His star seemed to be rising quickly and people wondered if he may even have an outside shot at putting together a Heisman campaign. That unfortunately came to a crashing halt when it came out that his father Enchilada had been selling his gear under nose out of his restaurant to make extra money. After many cases and appeals it became clear Nacho would not be able to regain his eligibility. Out of options and estranged from his parents Nacho declared for the NSFL draft hoping to once again reclaim his future.
