Modern Nazgûl (born July 11, 2026) was an American football wide receiver. He played college football for THE Mordor State University (MSU) .

Early years

Following the destruction of the One Ring, the explosion of Mt. Doom, and the expulsion of Sauron from the land of Mordor, a thriving community of orcs, men, elves and even Nazgûl rose up from the ashes like a phoenix. Unlike the dark days, this community was committed to giving their children a better life by providing education, entertainment, and most importantly for Modern Nazgûl, sports and recreational activities. As a child, he excelled in rugby, soccer, and even basketball, but a growth spurt the summer before 9th grade led the football coaches at Minas Morgul HS to ask him to come out for the team. It was there that he found his true love- catching footballs. As he continued to grow to a staggering 6 feet 6 inches, he worked hard to improve his footwork and eventually became the most devastating deep threat in all of Middle Earth. Nazgûl's high school career ended with a Middle Earth championship, catching 10 passes for 349 yards and 4 touchdowns in the championship game against the Mirkwood Greenleaves.

College career

Despite numerous college offers around Middle Earth, Nazgûl decided to stay close to home and ply his trade at THE Mordor State University. Considered a fledgling football program when he arrived, Nazgûl set receiving records his Freshman year with 114 catches for 1342 yards and 12 touchdowns. He would go on to break that record in each subsequent year of school. Spending the majority of his career double covered, he routinely was able to break free down the field and outjump his oppenents. Unfortunately, despite Nazgûl's best efforts, the team rarely saw success on the field in his first 2 seasons. In his Junior year however, the MSU coaches got creative and starting employing Nazgûl on defense as well. Now operating as a shutdown corner, he routinely eliminated half the field for his opponents passing attack. According to him the increased reps also had another effect on his playmaking ability. "By seeing what it was like to play corner, I was able to get inside the mind of the defenders who were constantly lined up across from me. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to add new techniques to refine my game so that when, at the next level, I'm not just the biggest guy on the field anymore, I'll have the ability to still get open downfield." Based on his sheer freak abilities and his commitment to growth, Nazgûl seems like a stone cold lock to excel in the DSFL this season.
