Mickey "McLovin" Lauvin (born April 1, 2029) is an American football wide receiver who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Hawai'i at Manoa (Hawaii) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Mickey Lauvin was born in Tuscon Arizona to his parents Fibi and Joe. Fibi was a three time olympic gymnast, collecting one team silver medal in her career. Joe played Tight End in college for Texas Christian University, but was never saw the field, he now works as a retail manager while Fibi teaches gymnastics. Mickey has one younger sister, and had a relatively quiet childhood. He picked up his fathers football interest and always dreamed of playing football in college like his dad, who would play with him, and help him improve. Once 5th grade came around and he started tackle football, Mickey was clearly a step ahead of all the other kids on the field. He would play QB and Nosetackle, while being coached by his dad to lead his middle school to two consecutive titles his 7th and 8th grade years. He then went to high school, where his new coach kept him at QB on offense, but originally placed him at LB, before eventually switching him to CB on defense. Mickey thrived throughout his time in high school, although didn't see the levels of success he did in middleschool. He recieved College offers from Hawaii, Villanova and Weber State who wanted him at WR, NM State, and Duqense who wanted him at CB, and the coach of Northern CO offered him the backup QB position. He initially narrowed his choices to the three schools offering him at WR, stating he intended to play wideout in college. He would go on to pick Hawaii due to a close relationship with the coach who had been initially seen him while scouting another player in a game he played his sophomore year where he we ran for 1 impressive touchdown and recorded 1 interception as well as 91 rushing yds on 10 attempts.

College career

Mickey was immediately expected to see gametime, but was low down on the depth chart, but did impress in practice, Over the first 8 games he only recorded 4 catches for 18 yards, as well as 2 drops, but on his 9th game on home against rival school Wyoming he "broke out" recording 5 catches for 63 yards, most notably one 30 yard bomb bad throw that he caught to give the team the lead late in the third. Once his name had been heard on the speakers the student section gave him the nickname "McLovin" and he would go on to become a bit of an on campus celebrity due to his fitting name and slight resemblance (in the face) to McLovin. For the rest of the year he was given a bigger role but only recorded 1 more touchdown the rest of the year. His sophomore year he was expected to pick up a much bigger role in the offense, but for the first 7 weeks this time he struggled again, recording 2 touchdowns but very few yards or impact plays. On weeks 8-10 he stepped it up slightly, before having the game of his career week 11 recording 2 tds 11 rec 121 yds. From that point on he played out of his mind, and quickly earned the WR 1 job, where he would end up setting the school record for number of receptions over his college career.
