Matthew Ashley (born March 25, 2025) is an American football linebacker for the Kansas City Coyotes of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Matthew Ashley was a team player from the start. He pulled his weight in school and in the weightroom and acquired many friends that enjoyed his eagerness to finish the big project. He moved to Georgia at a young age, and so he wasn't phased by heat or cold. He spent most of his time as a young child fantasizing about being famous. He was sure that one day, everyone would know him. He was interested in football for a while but only started playing his senior year in high school. Essentially unseen, he went the whole year with two plays... at wide receiver. He was quite popular, so he had people chanting his name until the coaches put him in at WR to finish senior night. He then spent the offseason getting faster and stronger so, when he went to college, he'd be able to start... given some time.

College career

As Matthew set foot on the campus at the University of Georgia, he instantly went to the football coaches and asked to be on the team. They put some pads on him and sent him out the next day. They were astonished at his ability to remember plays and execute them. He was then sent in as a defensive end to the first game of the season against their bitter rival: Alabama. The Bulldogs prevailed that day, with Matthew acquiring a strip-sack and two balls batted down at the line of scrimmage. He continued to start and make big plays. He was getting stronger and stronger as the years passed. Eventually, he ended his senior season with a national championship. His grades were good, but nothing special as he struggled with turning in work on time and rarely cared for the classes he took. He spend most of his class time dreaming about starting in the ISFL.
