Legs McMillion (born January 12, 2035) is an American football cornerback who currently plays for the Cape Town Crash. He played college football for Leg Day University (LDU), and in the DSFL for the Norfolk Seawolves.

Early years

Legs McMillion was born and raised as an only child in Honolulu, Hawaii. Even in his youth, he was a man of few words. He did alright in his classes, but always felt like he didn't fit in with the rest of his peers. His family thought it was due to him having a nut allergy, but Legs always felt he was picked on due to being born without arms, a torso, and a head. Once he got to high school and joined the football team, everything changed. Originally brought on as a kicker, Legs saw himself getting pigeonholed into a position based purely on stereotypes. Always one to overcome the odds, he convinced his coach to let him try returning kicks. Despite the coach not understanding how that would even be possible, Legs McMillion proceeded to return his first kick for a touchdown during a scrimmage. Thus began Legs' illustrious career as a kick returner. He finished his high school career with 26 combined kick and punt return touchdowns, a high school record. He did, however, have 8 fumbles.

College career

In 2032, Legs McMillion was accepted into Leg Day University. This prestigious university, known for recruiting players that either only have quads or are obsessed with them, was a perfect fit. It was a rough start for Legs as a freshman. He got the returner job immediately, but his fumbling issue from high school persisted. In his first game he fumbled his first 2 kick returns, one of which was scooped up by the other team and brought back for a touchdown. Legs was benched for the following game, and he realized he needed to spend more time on ball security. Once he worked his way back on the field, Legs became the returner he always wanted to be. By the end of his senior year he had set a variety of kick return records; his most notable being 3 kick return touchdowns in a single game. He also became a bigger part of the offense, scoring 5 receiving and 2 rushing touchdowns his final year. Never one to shy away from his roots, he also got to shine as an emergency kicker when his teammate went down during his last game. Legs McMillion missed a 41 yard field goal, but followed it up with a game winning 30 yarder to beat rival team Arm Day University and rival player Arms O'Billion. Legs has since declared for the DSFL. He is currently competing in the Prospect Bowl with the Shelbyville Stallions, where he recently caught 6 passes for 118 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Mali Mastodons.

DSFL Career

McMillion was drafted in the 3rd round to the Norfolk Seawolves with pick 23. The Seawolves proved to be a perfect match for Legs, as he had a great start to his rookie campaign. In week 3, Legs McMillion had a breakout game where he broke the franchise record for receiving yards in a win over the Dallas Birddogs. Legs ended the day with 4 catches for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns, averaging 47 yards per catch. He followed up his breakout game by getting 2 receptions for 94 yards and 1 touchdown in a loss to the Kansas City Coyotes in week 4. This was his second straight game averaging 47 yards per catch. Legs had an 87 yard reception, which would end up being the longest catch in the DSFL by the end of the season.

The Seawolves started out the season strong, but began to struggle by midseason. They maintained their positioning as 1st or 2nd in the division, but the offense was beginning to falter. Legs McMillion found himself at the center of the problem, as he started having multiple drops per game; he ended the season with 9 total and was even completely shutout in a week 11 win against the Kansas City Coyotes.

Despite this, Legs managed to end the season with an impressive 906 receiving yards while averaging over 20 yards a catch. The Seawolves finished the season with a league-best 10-4 record, but their journey came to a quick end in a loss to the Bondi Beach Buccaneers in the playoffs.

Legs McMillion was taken with the 10th overall pick of the Season 41 ISFL Draft by the Cape Town Crash. Shortly after being drafted, Legs announced he would be changing his position to cornerback the following season.

After discussing the upcoming season with Cape Town, it was decided that Legs McMillion take an extra season in the DSFL to learn his new position. Legs McMillion's position switch announcement was not taken very well, both by fans and players alike. Many felt Legs was abandoning what made his personality likeable in the first place. Legs took this quite personally, and wanted to show that he was still going to terrify the league with his speed regardless.

In the first game of the new season against the Bondi Beach Buccaneers, Legs McMillion wasted no time silencing the crowd. Seven minutes into the first quarter, Legs McMillion intercepted rookie quarterback RE #38 and took it all the way to the endzone for Norfolk's first touchdown of the season. This was also Legs' first touchdown since week 6 of the previous season. Norfolk went on to win the opener 27-7.

Norfolk struggled to keep that momentum the rest of the season, and ended up finishing third in the conference with a record of 5-9. Legs managed to salvage a decent season with his first try on defense. He caught 4 interceptions and managed to force a couple fumbles as well.

Legs McMillion is currently gearing up for his rookie ISFL debut with the reigning champs, the Cape Town Crash.

ISFL Career

McMillion's start in the pros was much slower than his start in the developmental league. Being a part of the Cape Town Crash, Legs was on a fairly stacked team. He received limited minutes playing in the slot, and had to make the most of each snap.

Mainly focusing on preventing big plays, McMillion developed a tendency for swatting passes away. He started racking up pass defenses, but he went through most of the season without recording a single interception. This began to bother him, as the crowd began making fun of his namesake.

In week 15 of the regular season, Legs McMillion recorded his first ISFL interception against the Colorado Yeti. It came at the perfect time, as the Yeti had just begun to mount a comeback and approached the redzone.

Even with the strong team output, Cape Town fell short of making the Ultimus. The Berlin Fire Salamanders defeated them at the very last second in the playoffs.

With one season under his belt, Legs McMillion moved up the depth chart after some personnel changes in Cape Town. Legs would begin season 43 at CB2, effectively becoming a starter for the first time in his ISFL career.

With Legs McMillion and the newly acquired Apollo Program playing at CB1, the Crash boasted the best defense in the league. They allowed only 18.8 points per game, which rallied them to a 12-4 record. McMillion fared much better this season, and his stats reflected it. He ended the season with 3 interceptions and 76 tackles, having only 1 missed tackle all season.

Legs headed to the playoffs for his second straight year. Unfortunately, he would fail to make much of a splash. The Crash handled the Yeti in the wildcard with ease after scoring 31 points in the 4th quarter alone, winning 55-28. Legs ended the game with just 1 tackle and 2 pass defenses, but a win nonetheless.

The following conference championship game did not follow suit. In a nail-biting, low-scoring 19-17 loss to the eventual Ultimus winning Baltimore Hawks, Legs McMillion tallied only 4 tackles. He did help prevent the Hawks from scoring any passing touchdowns, but it was not enough as Baltimore still managed to complete a game winning drive.

Despite two consecutive seasons ending in last second playoff losses, Legs McMillion has been steadily improving and will potentially be taking up the mantle of CB1 in the next season.

As predicted, Legs McMillion became the starting corner back for the 44th ISFL season. Not only did he get off to a great start, but the Cape Town Crash quickly stood out as one of the best teams in the league once again. Starting their season 6-0, Cape Town looked to pummel opposing teams with a nasty core on both sides of the ball.

While Legs was holding it down as CB1, he was struggling to be a playmaker. When he transitioned from a wide receiver to a corner back, he mainly focused on playing in the slot since that was his primary role on offense. This was proving to make him an effective tackler, but he lacked the coordination for interceptions and pass defenses. Midway through the season, Legs decided he would switch up his style and become a lock-down corner.

This was the right choice, as by the end of the season Legs McMillion led the league in passes defended despite starting the season with a low amount. This change also helped bolster the Crash's defense- by the end of the season they were ranked first in their conference and second in the league in both points allowed and pass yards allowed.

Moving onto the playoffs, the outcome looked dire in the conference championship against the Baltimore Hawks. The Hawks managed to stop the Crash offense in the closing minutes of the game and kick a field goal of their own to put the Hawks up 30-24 with 46 seconds to go. The Crash had no timeouts left, but on the first play of the drive quarterback Creg Jerrith IV hit Kairo Knight on a miracle deep bomb to win the game 31-30. After the previous seasons last second playoff losses, Legs felt good to get a last second win of his own.

This brought the Crash to the Ultimus against the Honolulu Hahalua. This was a particularly personal game for Legs, as he was facing a team he thought he may have gotten drafted by. The game started out explosive with an immediate kickoff return TD by Crash RB Nakiri Ayame, and the tempo never slowed down. It ended up being a shootout, but unfortunately the Crash could not pull off the game winning drive this time around and lost 43-36. This was a tough loss for Legs, but he was happy to finally play in his first Ultimus. His stats weren't anything great, just 5 tackles and 1 PD, so he definitely felt like he contributed to the loss.

Legs McMillion was selected for his first pro bowl following the Ultimus loss, which helped ease the disappointment although it was hard to feel worthy of the selection. With Legs beginning to approach his peak, he is hoping Cape Town can run it back one more time while he's still around.

The Crash got off to a bumpy start to Season 45, going 3-6. With things looking ugly down the stretch, the Crash went on a 4 game losing streak. Legs McMillion was having an alright year, but nowhere near the dominance he showed just one season ago.

Something clicked, and in week 10 they thrashed the Otters in a 44-13 win to break their bad luck. This was the start of a 3 game winning streak, which was capped off in a nailbiting week 12 win over the Hawks. In this game, Legs recorded his first ever defensive touchdown. He scored in the first quarter, intercepting Preston Beatz. This would prove to be the difference maker in the game, as the final score was 26-23.

Unfortunately, the Crash would not sustain the winning streak for very long and ended the season 7-9. The final game of the season was a major loss to the Yeti in which they scored 69 nice points on the Crash. This was the most points given up in any defense Legs had been a part of.

Despite the disappointing season, McMillion was still named to another Second Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl.

The Crash followed up their disappointing 7-9 season with another 7-9 season, although this time they were in the playoff race until the bitter end. This was also Legs McMillion's break out year that solidified himself as one of the league's best corner backs. He was named to another pro bowl and, for the first time, the all-pro first team defense.

Going into week 13 with a 7-5 record, Cape Town needed just one single win to make it into the postseason. Unfortunately, this would not happen as they would lose all four final games of the season and miss playoffs again. While you can do a lot worse than back to back 7-9 seasons, this was still the worst losing stretch of Legs' career. Despite this, Legs continued to leave it all on the field.

Legs ended the season with new highs in both interceptions and passes defended, and tied his highs for forced fumbles, fumble recoveries, and defensive touchdowns. Specifically with PDs, Legs McMillion set a record for 10th most PDs in a single season.

With S47 being his peak, Legs has only two goals remaining. His first is to become Cape Town's all-time PD leader. This is going to require 44 more PDs, as Legs currently sits in 5th place with 135. His second goal is to win an Ultimus. Cape Town won an Ultimus the season they drafted Legs, but he unfortunately still played for the Seawolves at the time. Side-note, the year he got called up to Cape Town is the same year the Seawolves then won the Ultimini. Legs can't catch a break with this stuff.

The Crash and Legs have big things planned, and Legs is just getting started on his peak.
