Lawrence Miller (born April 11, 2021) was an American football cornerback. He played college football for Michigan State University (MSU).

Early years

Lawrence Miller was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, by his two parents, father Zoltan Miller, and mother Abana Miller. He started playing football early in his life, with his father becoming a huge reason for that, and was one of the best players on his middle school team. He attended Sir Winston Churchhill High School, where he made a name for himself almost immediately. In his first year, he made the Varsity team, first as a backup, but was then a starter only a few games in. This made Lawrence the only first year student to start more than half of the season games on the Varsity team. The next two years, he was able to make a name for himself, first just locally, then becoming well-known league wide as one of the best, if not the best defender in the league. Lawrence had set the record for both interceptions, and pick six's in the league, which had given him an argument for the best defender since the league was started. He had quickly become a force on defence, and soon looked towards university, yet he hadn't had a serious scholarship opportunity until Michigan State University had contacted him. He took that opportunity, moving away the next summer.

College career

Upon arriving at Michigan State University, the first thing Lawrence Miller had done was buy his two parents some Spartans gear. After all, it was the least he could do considering how much they had done for him. He'd gotten to working out and practicing as soon as the first semester started, and that was only amplified once the season started. Lawrence was benched for the first three games of the season, but earned himself a spot as a starter afterwards. In the 10 games that Lawrence ended up playing, he had earned himself an interception, along with 35 tackles, 22 of which being solo. The following season, he had started all 13 games on the Spartans schedule, becoming a huge part of their roster, with the same impact he had back in Calgary. He'd managed four interceptions, along with 59 tackles, 42 of which being solo. He was starting to be seen as that defensive force he was, just now in Michigan State, and things had begun to look bright for him. At the end of his second season in Michigan State, Lawrence moved on to the DSFL.

DSFL career

After his season in Michigan State concluded, Lawrence was put through the waiver system in the DSFL following the ISFL trade deadline. There, he was picked up by the Norfolk Seawolves. Miller played 4 games in Norfolk prior to the conclusion of the season, where he played a pretty average game, letting other teams get a good look at what he could be capable of.
