Kelvin “The Guru” Harris (born January 3, 2019) is an American football safety who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Texas A&M (TAMU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Kelvin Harris was born and raised in the Austin metropolitan area, specifically Bee Cave, Texas. He is one of three sons to his father Phillip and mother Lenora. From an early age Kelvin showed much interest in sports. Pursuing basketball, football, baseball and track and field as early as possible. Being an athlete for all of his life, he never stopped moving and maintained great physical condition. His brothers Le'shawn and Terrence had similar athletic pursuits but weren't quite as gifted as Kelvin. While maintaining other sports, Kelvin's focus on Football was always clear. He played flag football at the age of 9 and played contact peewee football in grades 6 and 7. In his Freshman year of high school in 2012 Kelvin proved himself worthy of foregoing the Junior Varsity roster at Lake Travis High School and was elevated to the Varsity team. This already being a rare occurrence lead Kelvin to hazing from his fellow teammates as well as envious remarks from his brothers. Head Coach Hank Carter took special interest in him as he showed to be a truly gifted athlete. Once on the field, the hazing and hardships faded away as he showed to be a stunningly dominant Safety and Corner. As the backbone of the Lake Travis defense they made 4 consecutive playoff runs including two State Championships winning one of them. In his senior year he became the first defensive player to win the Texas Mr. Football award.

College career

Kelvin Harris was a 5 star Safety prospect out of high school and had multiple offers from major schools such as Ohio State, Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M and Michigan. Kelvin was quick to commit to Texas A&M on a full scholarship before the end of his Junior year as him and his family were always great fans of the team. Choosing with his heart turned out well for Kelvin. As a redshirt freshman started 10 of his first 13 games being held in a backup position during the first 3 weeks. Kelvin had his college breakout moment his freshman year when he got his first career interception against the highly renowned quarterback Dua Dagovailoa in Texas A&M's 45-23 loss to the future College Football National champion Alabama. Championship game. Kelvin lead a respectable career as one of the most dominant safeties in the SEC. In 2038 he had his best season getting 9 interceptions in the single season putting him 3rd all time in school history for interceptions in a single season. He earned his nickname "The Guru" after a 2 interception game against LSU where it seemed like he knew where the ball was going to be before the Quarterback could even throw it. Kelvin was highly remarked in College as "The Smartest Man on the Field" and graduated summa cum laude with his Bachelors degree in Engineering. After the 2040 season many felt disrespected by the college football world as they were ranked 5th in the country and denied a chance to play for the National Championship game.
