Jake Harrison Barnes (born June 6, 2040) is an American football safety who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks.He played college football for Appalachian State University (App) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Jake grew up a lover of video games and electronics. He desire to become a video game designer and an aeronatucial engineer. Throughout his early years he struggled with sports due to Asthma. As Jake got into high school, he joined the swim team which aided him in his ability to preform rigorous activities with Asthma. As he went off to college he realized his potential on the football field after playing with his dormroom friends in a pickup game of touch football during freshmen orientation. After witnessing his incredible athletic ability, one of Jake's soon to be long term friends recommended he try out for the University team the comming semester. After some weeks in the gym and on the rec fields Jake tried out as a walk on for App State Universities Football Team. The coaches while impressed with his athletic ability were concerned with his lack of history playing football. Despite the initial hesitation, the Defensive Backs coach levied for Jake to make the roster the coming season.

College career

"""As a walk on freshman in 2056, Jake struggled to see the field during the season. It wasn't until the 4th game of the season during his Sophomore year where he finally saw game time after injuries riddled the App State Defensive Secondary. His first play in the game resulted in a pass breakup on what would have been a 34 yard Touchdown. Jake ended that game with a solid 70.8 QBR when targeted. The rest of the season Jake Started at Free Safety for the Mountaineers and logged 28 tackles with 5 passes defended and two interceptions. The following year Jake started all 13 games, by the seasons end he totaled 56 Tackles, 9 Passes Defended and 4 Interceptions with 1 Returned for a TD, making the All Sun Belt 2nd-Team. His Senior season in 2060, Jake made All Sun Belt 1st Team with a total of 52 Tackles, 11 Passes Defended and 3 Interceptions with 2 Returned for TD's and a stellar 58.6 QBR when targeted. "
