Jack Cannon (born May 5, 2042) is an American football quarterback for the Yellowknife Wraiths. He played college football for University of Texas at Austin (UT).

Early years

Jack Cannon (born May 5, 2042) is an American football quarterback from Whitehouse, Texas. Growing up, Cannon idolized NFL star Patrick Mahomes and had dreams of becoming a quarterback from a young age. This passion was nurtured by his athletic family; his father, Jim Cannon, was a professional baseball pitcher, while his mother, Jenny Cannon, was a collegiate track star. Jack has two younger siblings, Jessie (16) and Jimmy (14), who both look up to him fondly. When not immersed in training, practice, or academic pursuits, Jack enjoys playing video games and building computers.

All Jack wants to do is win championships at the highest level of his profession. He is a hard worker, quick learner, and as gifted of a football player as the world has ever seen. He knows the pressure on him to succeed will be immense, but he will use that as motivation and will never lack in drive or determination to do whatever it takes to win.

College career

Cannon attended the University of Texas, where he became a standout player for the Longhorns. Despite not seeing action as a freshman, he utilized his time on the bench to learn and develop his skills. His opportunity to start came at the beginning of his sophomore year when an injury to the starting quarterback opened up a spot. Jack seized this chance and immediately made an impact, earning SEC 2nd team honors and leading Texas to a bowl victory.

His junior year saw even greater success as he propelled the Longhorns to a 12-1 record, earning a spot in the college football playoffs. His exceptional performance made him a Heisman runner-up and solidified his reputation as one of the top quarterbacks in college football. Despite a heartbreaking loss in the championship game, Jack's determination and talent shone brightly.

Returning for his senior year, Jack Cannon delivered an unforgettable season. He led the Longhorns to an undefeated record, captured the coveted Heisman Trophy, and secured a national championship. His senior stats were nothing short of extraordinary, with over 6000 passing yards and 60 touchdowns, cementing his legacy in college football history and setting him up well for the next chapter in his career.

Norfolk Seawolves (DSFL)

In Season 49, his first professional season, he joined the Norfolk Seawolves of the DSFL. He made an immediate impact, leading the Seawolves to a 9-4-1 record and a playoff berth. The team's impressive run extended to the Ultimini championship game, though they were ultimately defeated. Despite the championship loss, his rookie campaign was considered a remarkable success. He led the league with 30 touchdown passes and a 95.9 passer rating, earning him a spot on the S49 Pro Bowl team. His outstanding performance also resulted in him being named both DSFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and DSFL Most Valuable Player.

His second season with the Seawolves (Season 50) saw the team take a step back, finishing with a 6-8 record despite matching his rookie total of 30 touchdown passes. While his completion percentage improved to 56.4%, his interceptions more than doubled from 7 to 15, resulting in a lower passer rating of 83.2.

Season 51, his final year in the DSFL, proved challenging as the Seawolves struggled to a 3-11 record. Though his completion percentage continued to improve, reaching 61.6%, his touchdown production dropped to 20 while throwing 16 interceptions. Despite the team's struggles, his development as a passer was evident as he showed greater accuracy, completing a higher percentage of his passes each season with the Seawolves.

ISFL Career

Following three seasons in the DSFL, he was selected by the Black Forest Brood in the 2nd round (18th overall pick) of the ISFL draft. His transition to the higher level of competition proved difficult, as the Brood finished with a disappointing 2-14 record in Season 52. Despite the team's struggles, he showed potential by throwing for 4,093 yards and 21 touchdowns, though he also recorded 12 interceptions and an 80.0 passer rating.

After just one season with the Brood, he entered free agency and signed with the Yellowknife Wraiths for Season 53. The change of scenery proved beneficial, as he led the Wraiths to a 9-7 record and a playoff berth. Though the team was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs, his personal performance showed marked improvement. He posted career bests with a 64.1% completion rate, a 101.1 passer rating, and an impressive 29:6 touchdown-to-interception ratio. His rushing abilities also emerged as he recorded 50 yards on the ground and his first rushing touchdown in the ISFL.
