Hank "Beefquake" Steel (born September 28, 1997) was an American football defensive tackle for the Portland Pythons of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Hank Steel was born to a family of reclusive cattle farmers in rural North Dakota. While he did not attend any classes at the school, Hank was allowed to participate in sports with the local high school. Hank was an abnormally large child, coming it over 6 feet tall and 200 lbs when he was only 12. His massive size made him a dominate force in both basketball and football, In basketball, Hank played primarily center, where he lead the league in blocked shots during his freshman and sophmore years. In football, Hank played both guard and nose tackle where he was voted as the team MVP both his freshman and sophmore years. Unfortunately, Hank's high school sports career was cut short during the summer of his juinor year where he developed a liver disorder after participating in a gravy chugging contest at a county fair. It took several months for the injury to fully recover, causing Hank to miss his juinor and senior season of football.

College career

After suffering the injury during high school, Hank was not interested in participating in any sports. Due to the lack of physical activity caused by his injury, Hank had put on a significant amount of weight, measuring in at over 400 lbs and 6 foot 8 inches as a freshman. His massive size was an issue on campus, as there was no dorms which would facilitate a person of his size. His issues reached a peak when he became stuck in the doorway to the student union. The fire department had to be called to wedge him out of the doorway. During this time, the offensive line coach for the university's football team saw this incident and invited Hank to tryout for the team. After some heavy conditioning, Hank was able to get back to playing shape and impressed many of the coaches. During his freshman year, Hank developed the nickname ""Beefquake"" due to his diet, consisting of raw beef and unpasteurized cow milk, and the way the ground would shake when he attempted to run. Hank was not cut out for the offensive line, but found a place along the defensive line during his sophmore and juinor year. He decided to forgo his senior year in favor of opting into the DSFL draft.
