Finn Murphy (born September 27, 2041) is an American football linebacker who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Clemson Tigers and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

As a little kid, I was always obsessed with football. It was a big part of my life considering both my dad and my uncle were professional football players. Going to a lot of both of their games, I learned the game very young and started playing it at 5. But I wasn't always a LB, growing up i was mainly a RB and enjoyed playing offence a lot. It wasn't until I was in middle school, about 13, that i changed over to LB. My coach noticed how much I had bulked over the summer and wanted me to try it out in practice. I fell in love immediately. Something about being able to blow through block and blow up the player with the ball, it gets my heart pumping. Ever since then, I've been a menace over the middle and in the backfield. My high school years were filled with ups and downs, I suffered a knee injury that put me out my whole sophomore season. But I bounced back better than ever, with a great junior season, making it all the way to the state championship, and earning all-state honors. Senior season was about the same statically, but one thing that changed is when we made it to the state championship this year, we finished the job. I made the game winning tackle at the goal line, busting through the line to blow the RB up in the back field as time expired. It was one of the greatest moments and feelings of my life, or so I though at the time.

College career

I was a 3-star recruit out of high school, so I knew I had some work to do, so when I arrived at the Clemson facility, I wasn't surprised when coach said I'd be starting off as mainly a special teams guy and backing up the starting LBs. So, my freshman year wasn't a star-studded year, I didn't get as many chances as I would have liked, but that offseason i worked hard to improve my game. In Sophomore year, once I got my chance, there was no turning back. In college, I was a human wrecking ball, busting through the D-line for sacks and run stops, and lighting up players coming across the middle of the field. I earned All-Conference 3 out of 4 years, Butkus award Finalist twice, and winner of the award in my most recent senior year. I also led Clemson to a National championship game twice, winning it one of those years.
