Eddie "Krispy Kreme" Rainer (born January 10, 2003) is an American football wide receiver for the Kansas City Coyotes of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He did not play college football before being drafted by the Kansas City Coyotes in the 2026 DSFL Draft (S11). He is an eligible prospect for the upcoming NSFL Entry Draft.

Early years

It was quite evident from a young age that Rainer would be an incredible football player some day. The young wide receiver had a humble beginning playing for the Carrot River football program before moving to join the Silverspring Titans at the age of eleven in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He was raised on a hard mantra that hard work will always yield great results, and using this mantra grew up to be an exceptional football player. In his early teens Rainer accepted a contract with the popular donut brand Krispy Kreme that placed him under oath to follow something he never thought would be possible. The contract states that any time Rainer makes an appearence on national television it must only be in the Krispy Kreme costume, and also that he may only refer to himself on live broadcasts and in interviews as Krispy Kreme. The contract is set to expire in S13.

DSFL career

Rainer announced his intent to join the pro football circuit only minutes before the draft, and due to this gave teams very little time to scout him. He fell all the way into the ninth round of his draft class before being selected 33rd Overall and partnered with his old quarterback from his Holy Cross Crusaders days of Luke Boechler. The two instantly hit it off at training camp, and are currently working on a training program for their team. During the pre-season Rainer was unable to see any field time due to complications with him having to wear the suit during the game, and a league wide rule change being placed in effect.
