Dicker the Kicker (born July 6, 2032) is an American football kicker who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Texas at Austin and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Dicker the Kicker was born in Hong Kong, China on July 6th, 2032 to Mary Dicker, a Hong Kong native who became a successful attorney at the law firm Benjamin, Greene, & Ellis in Austin, Texas, and Joe Dicker, a high school history teacher and head coach of Lake Travis High’s football team. As the oldest of three children, Dicker felt at a young age the need to be a high achiever like his mom. Once in high school, his dad, Joe, instilled in him a hard work ethic and a passion for the Kicker/Punter position. Over the next four years, Dicker was developed by his father into a premier recruit that caught the attention of every blue blood college football program in the country. After much deliberation with his family, Dicker chose to attend the nearby University of Texas in Austin, Texas fulfilling a childhood dream of playing for the Longhorns.

College career

As a true freshman, Dicker was expected to ride the bench and learn the ins and outs of Division 1 football from the Longhorns’ upperclassmen, but Dicker had a different plan. Through hard work, both on the practice field during Summer training camp and in the facility doing film study, Dicker would not be denied a starting position on the Texas defense. This turned out to be a very smart decision by the coaching staff as Dicker starred on the field, kicking 18/25 on Field Goals and 51/52 on Extra Points. Dicker built upon his successful frosh campaign by upping his totals to 27/30 on Field Goals and 53/54 on Extra Points, earning him 1st team All Conference. As a junior, Dicker again led the conference in made FGs and made XPs and could have made big bucks declaring for the NFL draft. However, Dicker insisted on staying for his senior year in order to complete his degree, something he had always wanted in order to honor his mother, who always impressed on him that education was to be first and foremost in their lives. It was fortuitous that Dicker stayed, as the one thing that eluded him the previous 3 seasons finally came to fruition, a National Title win with his childhood team.
