Charles William Allan (born January 31, 2001) is an American football running back who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for University of Wisconsin (UW) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Charles Allan, born to Jack and Elma in 2001 of Topeka, KS, grew up much of his younger life on a farm in Kansas. The son of a farmer was never a laid back life... Up early, chores... School, practice and then finishing the day with more chores. It wasn't easy, but it prepared the workhorse to face relentless defenses on a weekly basis. It was clear early on that Charles was obsessed with the position of runningback. Growing up watching highlights of the great, Walter Payton became a norm in the Allan house. It was in 9th grade when the world started to see glimpses of what Charles could potentially bring to the NSFL landscape, but it wouldn't be until college where he would establish a whole new level in himself at the expense of many defenders crossing his path.

Meanwhile at the high school level, Allan would amass over 4,000 all-purpose yards during is Junior and Senior seasons. In addition, he would account for 118 touchdowns, 97 of them on the ground. An all-purpose back would earn him the nickname the "Mississippi Monster" for his absolute straight forward surges at the end of every play.

College career

After back to back Mississippi State Championships, Charles would sign with the University of Wisconsin Badger football program. Known for their development of premier runningbacks, the young freshman took his talents north in knowing he would have to wait his turn. Through patience and determination, carries started to trickle his way his sophomore season and as his Junior season rolled around he would become the featured back. Leading the Badgers to a pair of ten-win seasons and two New Year's Day bowl berths, the shifty back became known for his bruising forearm and power whenever he finished a run. Amassing over 3,400 yards and 57 touchdowns during his two years as the starter, he wasn't a record-setter but he was a consistent wrecking force. A candidate both years for the Doak Walker award. A constant worker on the field, Charles was also a leader in the classroom graduating with honors from the UW Business School.

Aspiring to climb the NSFL ranks, Allan has plans to also start a pool and spa company. His enjoyment of leisure activities is noted after years of hard work on the farm. "I want to help with the vision of others wanting to create a weekend that doesn't end in their backyard. I grew up working all the time as a child and I want others to be aware that there is more to life than work."
