Bunk McDunk (born August 14, 2000) is an American football defensive tackle who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks.He played college football for Washington State University (WSU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Bunk was born to a former NFL OT Named Funk. Dominated the Seattle Area Peewee Football and High School Leagues. Always trying to out do his dad, he began to play both ways starting as a freshman. He eventually blew out his knee as a sophomore and had to miss half the season. Bunk was able to full rehab and played like a man with a fire in his shorts for his Junior year. Breaking his school's sack record, he began to head to training camps for the summer. He went to WSU's college prep camp and impressed the coaching staff. Although he didn't leave with an offer. His final year, Bunk played only defense and was named to the all state time, even though his high school lost in the first round of the playoffs. He broke his previous sack record. Recruited by a slew of small colleges, he eventually decided to stay in state at WSU.

College career

Bunk did not make the varsity roster his freshman year at WSU like he had expected. He was a lean DT and needed to bulk up. He took that frustration to the weight room and added 50 pounds of muscle over the off season. He broke into the starting roster but had limited success, he was still a lean 250 pounds playing in a power 5 conference. He used his next off season to bulk up and added another 50 pounds of anchoring weight. Finally a solid weight - he was able to get onto the all conference team, albeit only third team. Unsatisfied with the result, he opted to stay for his senior year, even though his father thought he was draft ready. He worked on his endurance over the offseason and was able to stay on the field much longer and was much more productive - but ended up not earning all conference honors for his final year.
