Barret Garrett (born September 17, 2037) is an American football offensive lineman who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Washington State University (WSU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Barret Garrett was born into a middle-class family in Sitka, Alaska. Both of his parents were hard workers; his mother helped manage the farm they owned, and their father assisted in running the local lumberyard. As a result, Barret found himself engaging in a variety of physical tasks, such as cleaning the cow pens or moving firewood around the house. These activities contributed to his development into a very strong individual. Barret entered high school at a towering 6'2" and weighing 225 pounds as a freshman. This caught the attention of the football coaches, who reached out to him and asked if he'd be interested in trying out. He enthusiastically accepted their offer, and it turned out to be the best decision of his life. During his freshman year, Barret made an immediate impact, not allowing a single touch on the quarterback. This continued to hold true for the next four years, solidifying his reputation as one of the best offensive linemen in Alaska at that time. His exceptional performance attracted the attention of college scouts. While Barret received offers from smaller schools in Alaska, he ultimately decided to pursue his D1 dreams at WSU.

College career

Barret's college career got off to a slow start. Although he was highly sought after as a lineman, he found that those at the college level were a step ahead of him. However, this didn't deter the determined freshman. He put in hard work every single day, and it eventually paid off. In his freshman year, he didn't see much playing time, but the following year, he earned the role of the second-string center. Before the season began, the first-string center suffered a torn ACL, providing Barret with a golden opportunity to shine – and shine he did. By the end of the season, he had allowed only 12 QB pressures and 1 sack. The following season, Barret's performance continued to improve, and as a senior, he reached an impressive milestone by not allowing any QB pressures or sacks. His exceptional skills even landed him in discussions for the Lineman of the Year award.
