Andrew "Super" Nova (born May 30, 2016) is an American football runningback who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for University of Akron (UA) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years
Andrew Nova was born in Cleveland OH to a small family. He did not play football until his Junior year when a football coach noticed how fast he was running away from a wild dog who was chasing him. His rawness forced him on the bench until his senior year where he finally had the breakout year including a 4 touchdown performance against their rival at the end of the season. Nova's call to his game was his speed and quickness, which allowed him to abuse high school defenders. A highlight of him going from side line to sideline on a botched run before taking it up the field for a touchdown had a small amount of viral success and even found its way on some news outlets. This caused some scouts to begin appearing at his games, but eventually they were more impressed by other players as Nova did not receive any scholarships.
College career
Nova was a walkon the Akron due to his rawness. From there, he quicky impressed and became a redshirt freshman. From there Andrew Nova played two seasons in Akron, running for over 1500 yards. Nova starting earning the Moniker "SuperNova" due to a stretch of plays in his second season where against Toledo he took 3 straight runs to the house for touchdowns as his raw speed was too much for the Toledo secondary. In the MAC Championship game Nova ran 24 times for 92 yards, hardly an impressive performance in a loss to Eastern Michigan. Down 6 with 5 minutes left, Nova took a screen pass 24 yards to the Eastern Michigan 23 yard line before he fumbled the ball. Eastern Michigan would recover and hold on to the ball for the win. Afterwards it was discovered that Nova had been playing the second half of the season with a partially torn shoulder, which was affecting his performance. A quicky surgery followed to correct the issue as well as Nova's declaration to join the NSFL/DSFL Draft.
