Tychondrius Hood (born November 29, 2015) is an American football wide receiver for the Prospect of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

"Tychondrius Hood began his sports career playing soccer for local leagues and for his junior high school team. When the school's football coach watched him play he was determined to have him play for the team. Hood would play wide receiver immediately and would be a standout for the small school. Upon entering high school he would break numerous school records as the star wideout, becoming a starter during his freshman season. Hood was known as a speed receiver and would enter college as a highly touted 4* recruit. Known for his explosive playmaking abilities and crisp route running, he would then be offered scholarships from Florida, Georgia, LSU, and numerous other schools, where he inevitably would choose his hometown team and play for the Florida Gators. "

College career

"After accepting a scholarship from the Gators, Hood would become a household name for the fiery Gainesville squad.

Freshman Season

Hood would begin his college career returning kicks and punts, scoring on 3 returns. He would also rack up 500 yards and 6 touchdowns, eager to prove himself and gain the respect of his peers and coaches.

Sophomore Season

The Gators would promote Hood to the WR2 spot after seeing his play from the previous year, as well as the strides made during training camp. Head Coach Dan Mullen would refer to him as the teams ""secret weapon"". Hood would be used in many trick plays and sweeps. Racking up 450 Yards on the ground alone. Hood would have a solid sophomore season with 900 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns.

Junior Season

Hood would be given the reins of the starting wideout position during his 3rd season with the Gators, with many fans and coaches firmly believing that this was going to be his breakout year. Sadly during the first game of the season the Gators star quarterback would break his leg getting sacked in the third quarter. The Gators would start a true freshman and very raw quarterback for the rest of the season. Many attribute Hoods subpar year to the Gators quarterback play. Hood would end the season with 850 yards receiving, and 8 touchdowns. Although his production did not go up, when he had the ball he made the best of it, with an average of 17.5 YAC and an average of 27 YPC.

Declaring for the draft

Eager to play at the next level, and with what looked like another year with subpar quarterback play at Florida, Hood would forgo his senior season and declared for the NSFL draft and would be drafted by the Minnesota Grey Ducks in the third round of the draft.

DSFL Career

Tychondrius Hood would be drafted twenty-second overall, the sixth pick in the third round, in the season 22 Developmental Simulation Football League by the Minnesota Grey Ducks. Hood would begin his career along side veteran wide receiver Daymond Brooks, and with fellow receiver draftee Kai Sakura, with quarterback Sim Snowbow as the Grey Ducks resident quarterback and Jamar Lackson as the teams starting running back. Tychondrius Hood has had a very respectable first season, racking up over 800 yards. Hood would catch five touchdowns in his last three games, which helped him to break the Grey Duck single season and career touchdown record, bringing seven touchdowns in during the regular season. Hood would make his name as a speed and long range threat, seemingly going for 15 or more yards on a majority of his receptions, and achieving an excellent average of 14.6 yards per catch. Tychondrius Hood would go on to help the Minnesota Grey Ducks achieve a regular season record of eight wins and six losses, making way for the teams entry into the playoffs. Even though the Grey Ducks were knocked out of the playoffs in the first round by the London Royals, Tychondrius Hood managed to have a lights out rookie season, and is seemingly ready to make his name in the pro league. With the season twenty-three NSFL draft right around the corner, Hood is expected to be one of the first wide receivers off the board. Hood is also hopeful of being granted the honor of wide receiver of the year, or rookie of the year, and seems ready to make an impact in the upcoming season.(will update this if he does achieve the award).
