Teenie Hodges (born November 16, 2030) is an American football wide receiver for the Norfolk Seawolves of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Teenie Hodges was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. Hodges began playing guitar at age 12 in his father's band, the Germantown Blue Dots, before joining his brothers Leroy and Charles in their group, the Impalas. He began playing Football at age 16 after an injury to his fretting hand forced him to give up guitar for a year. He quickly began a force to be reckoned with on the football field where he started as a Junior for William L Dickinson Highschool despite never playing organized sports prior. He played with a cast on his hand for the entirety of his Junior year and led Dickinson in both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. As a senior he would set the season records for both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. Teenie excelled as a runner with surprising explosiveness and speed. He was not heavily recruited out of high-school and took his only scholarship offer from Western Michigan University.

College Career

Hodges was converted into a wide receiver in college despite never playing the position before. As a true freshman in 2019, Hodges started 12 of 13 games and had 53 receptions for 802 yards and three touchdowns. As a sophomore in 2020, he played in five games, recording 25 receptions for 388 yards and three touchdowns. He returned as a starter in 2021.Against Northern Illinois he tied a school record with four touchdowns receptions. Moore declared for the DSFL following his Senior Season. Having dealt with lingering issued regarding his hand, Hodges opted for surgery on his hand prior to the DSFL draft and thus was held out of the draft as his medicals cleared. He was picked up on waivers by the Norfolk Seawolves and was slotted to be a big time contributor from day one. Many evaluators were high on Hodges despite the injury concerns and expect him to excel despite playing at a small school in college
