Tae Royal Dawson was born September 9th 2029 in Galveston Texas to his mother Ava Dawson, a colligate track athlete for LSU and his father Ramel Dawson who was a police officer, Ramel was shot in January of 2031 while responding to a traffic stop along Seawall Boulevard and was pronounced dead while in the ambulance, He died at just 24 years old. Without his father in his life, Childhood became very difficult, Dawson moved to different schools in Texas and Louisiana until the family moved back to Galveston. Dawson began playing football in 4th grade after he didn't make the tryout for the basketball teams as he was seen as too short to make a impact on the court, Dawson's physical education teacher recommended him to try football where he would make the team and initially play free safety. At Ball High School, A school known for producing athletes, Dawson would split duties playing as a wide receiver and cornerback for his freshman and sophomore years before becoming permanently a cornerback. Dawson received offers from Florida,Texas,LSU and Alabama and decided on Alabama per his coaches and families request as he meshed well with head coach Quincy Jones and defensive coordinator Percy Dawkins
