Smokin Jay (born November 9, 1992) is an American football quarterback who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Last Chance U and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Smokin Jay was born in a small Indiana Town named Santa Clause. This little town is named after - you guessed it - Santa Claus, the legendary North Poler who brings kids toys on Christmas. Ironically, it was the gift of a toy football as a young child that led to his future career as a quarterback. Jay learned to throw a football at a young age. When ever one of his siblings would make him mad, he would throw the football as hard as he could at them from across the room. Eventually his parents got him into organized sports and this is where Smokin Jay began channelling that inner negativity into something productive on the field. Although he constantly argued with teammates, and refused to listen to his coaches, his talent helped lead him to many all star teams and resulted in Jay having an illustrious high school football career in Indiana.

College career

After an illustrious high school football career that many thought would lead Jay to a powerhouse school such as Ball State University, Jay shocked the nation and went to Vanderbilt instead. At Vandy, Smokin Jay lit the practice field on fire. However even with all of his talent, his lack of caring led to constant clashes with his coaches which eventually led to his dismissal from the football program there. Eventually he found his home at Last Chance University, which was the first team he played on that had players who had a similar non caring attitude. Jay - finally feeling at home - lit up the community college football scene in route to 3 straight national championships through his first 3 years. At that point, he shot up draft boards in the ISFL, and decided this would be the next step for him in his career. Smokin Jay - with the signature cigarette in mouth - Declared for the ISFL Draft by saying, " I am excited to make money in the ISFL. I guess I will play football there next."

Smokin Jay is currently a prospect in the ISFL / DSFL. He decided to join the league at the trade deadline for the DSFL, which has led to him being placed on waivers. Scouting has now begun with many interested teams reaching out to guage interest on the Last Chance U star. Legendary ISFL bust and interception king Ryan Negs has been a close mentor for Smoking Jay. Many draft analysts pray that Somkin Jay does not take too much advice from Ryan Negs, and instead uses his superior talent and instincts to lead him to a successful professional career. One anonymous GM was quote as saying, "Smokin Jay is great. We see all the potiential in the world in that kid. Hopefully he distances himself from the likes of Negs Icebear and others who are proven to be bad influences." At the DSFL Combine, Smokin Jay became the first player to ever quit a drill. When asked why he would quit when scouts were watching, he is quoted as saying, "because I don't care."
