Simon The Frog (born June 23, 2027) is an American football cornerback who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Oregon (ORE) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Simon the Frog made his first appearance to the world in Dallas, texas, as the pet frog of wide receiver William Lim, who was playing for the local Birddogs at the time. Following a freak accident involving Lim's friend and some radioactive material during an offseason Lim and his pet spent in Lim's home country of South Korea, "Simon" came to assume the bizarre form of a human- frog hybrid. After the incident, Lim enrolled Simon to the HIghland Park HIgh School- one of the better High school Programs in Dallas- in hopes that his former pet will find a path as a football player like he did. At Highland Park, Simon was a 4 year starter in the varsity team, mainly at wide receiver and cornerback positions. He became known as a blue chip cornerback prospect by his senior year, as he showed dominant performance all year long as Highland Park made the run to the state finals. Simon was listed as a 4-star recruit, and the #5 best cornerback prospect in Texas, with the scouting reports describing him as "a player with supreme athletic ability, especially at twitchyness and jumping, a remnant of his frog days". After receiving multiple offers from schools such as Texas A&M, USC, Texas tech and Colorado, Simon commited to University of Oregon stating that he "felt at home seeing the green of Oregon uniform"

College career

Simon started out his career as an Oregon duck As the 5th cornerback on the depth chart. He mostly played special teams snaps as gunner and kickoff team member, and saw some playing time in the defense during limited situations such as dime packages. However, he started to receive more playing time in defense towards the back half of the season. As a sophomore, Simon finally became a full time starter at the cornerback position, although he played some snaps at free safety spot in some packages. His technique showed massive improvement as he retained his speed and agility from high school days. that resulted in Simon being selected to 1st team all- PAC 12 after a season with 8 interceptions. By his junior season, Simon was without a doubt the number 1 cornerback on the Ducks depth chart. He made 1 team preseason All American, and proved the hype right as he proceeded to grab 12 interceptions in the season, including the tide- turning pick six in the conference championship. After the season, Simon declared for DSFL draft, forgoing the rest of his NCAA eligibility.

2048 Season

Simon the Frog started his DSFL career with a good note, as he was drafted to the Bondi Beach Buccaneers with the 9th overall pick of the season 33 DSFL draft. And due to the Australia based team's circumstances, Simon began the season at the team's number 1 cornerback spot, something that he did not relinquish throughout the rest of the season. Simon struggled a little bit as he adjusted into pro football, especially he was thrown into a circumstance that he had to face off against opponents' number 1 receivers- usually ISFL senddowns with much more pro football experience than Simon- when he was mostly just a rookie more known for the physical aspects of his game. Despite that, however, Simon persevered and improved as the season progressed. He started to record key tackles in third down situations as the season drew near its end, and he finally got the ever- elusive first interception in the pro level in a week 11 away game against the London Royals, even proceeding to get his second one a quarter later. Simon finished the season with 94 tackles, 2 interceptions, 18 passes deflected, and one forced fumble and fumble recovery each. Considering the situation Simon was in and the fact he had little help as most of the other players in the Buccaneers secondary were also fellow rookies, this was more than an adequate result.
