Below is a list of all known categories on the wiki. You can add any of these to a page by editing it and adding [[Category:##CATEGORY##]] to the bottom.
Note that all categories are case-sensitive!
The type refers to which kinds of page should contain the category. Player (just for players), Non-Player (for people in the league who are not players), Both (suitable for both players and non-players), Team (should only be used on team pages), or All (can go on any kind of page). If "Special" is listed here, the page has a specific use and should not be used for other kinds of pages, while "Parent" should only be used for subcategories (e.g. "DSFL Drafts" is a subcategory of "Drafts") and pages that do not fit into one of the subcategories (i.e. "Season 2 Prospect Game Draft" doesn't fit under DSFL Drafts or NSFL Drafts, so should be categorised under "Drafts").

| Defensive Backs | Player | Players who have been listed as CB, SS, or FS |
| Wide Receivers | Player | Players who have been listed as WR |

| Tight Ends | Player | Players who have been listed as TE |
| Offensive Linemen | Player | Players who have been listed as OL |

| Returners | Player | Players who have been lined up as KR or PR |
| Players who have changed position | Player | Players who, at some point in their career, changed their playing position. |
| General Managers | Non-Player | People who have been named as General Manager or Co-General Manager of a team (DSFL or NSFL) |
| Category:National Simulation Football League trophies and awards | Parent | List of awards and trophies available in the NSFL (and DSFL) |
| ##AWARD## winner | Both | People who have won the specified award (e.g. Most Valuable Player; remember it is case-sensitive) |
| ##TROPHY## winner | Both | People who have won the specified trophy (e.g. Ultimus, NSFC Championship) |
| Season (X) players | Player | Players in the regression class of season (x) |
| ##COLLEGE## alumni | Both | People who attended the specified college (useful for the NCT) |
| ##COLLEGE CONFERENCE## alumni | Both | People who attended a college in the specified conference (useful for the NCT) |
| People from ##STATE## | Both | People who listed their birthplace or hometown as being in the specified state (US-born people only) |
