Sandro 'MisterRyeus' Ryeu (born August 24, 2013) is an American football defensive end who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for Heidelberg University before going undrafted in the 2037 ISFL Draft (S22).

Early years

Sandro Ryeu is an American football defensive end born in Heidelberg (Germany). Ryeu is the child of Charlotte Ryeu-Eroni and Franklyn Ryeu-Eroni, an American veteran stationed in Mannheim (Germany). Ryeu was raised bilingual, attempting school in german language while living in an American settlement near Heidelberg (Germany). Ryeu told reporters that he mainly played basketball with other kids in his area but fell in love with football right after moving to the USA. Ryeu also jokingly admitted that the decision to move to Heidelberg (Ohio) was mainly based on the fact that he has a bad name memory. Ryeu started playing soccer, as a midfielder, and basketball in Germany until he was a teenager. Ryeu was expected to become a great soccer player until he dropped out of his local club to pursue his dream of becoming a musician with just small success. In his local community, he continued to play basketball to keep himself fit but was not very interested in the sport itself anymore. Ryeu finished his high school degree in Germany and joined the Heidelberg college (Ohio). His Mother Charlotte Ryeu-Eroni continued to live in Germany after the separation with Ryeu's father and Ryeu visits her 2-4 a year according to Ryeu.

College career

After problems finding a connection to other college students, Ryeu decided to try playing American football. He immediately became friends with his Coach, Darren Koller, who he would later describe as a father figure. Because of Ryeu's quick feet, body height and lack of knowledge about the game Koller lined him up as a Wide Receiver. Ryeu didn't do well as a wide receiver despite his physical archetypes. He didn't see a single offensive snap in his first year. Because of multiple injury problems for the team Ryeu got the chance to try himself out on different positions, ultimately becoming an outside linebacker who occasionally played in games. He ended his first season with just 24 tackles and one Tackle for Loss. As Darren Koller noticed Ryeus growing motivation and work ethic for the game since Ryeu was playing as a pass rusher he switched positions with freshman defensive end Morgan Martini. That was when Ryeu got growing attention from the media. He continued to play both linebacker and defensive end racking up 205 tackles, 11.5 QB Sacks and 25 tackles for loss. His season was a complete up and down with huge sparks of brilliance and underwhelming matchups like the Europe-Bowl.
