Ryan Leaf Jr (born May 29, 2009) is an American football cornerback who plays for the Norfolk Seawolves of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He was drafted twenty-third overall in the 2029 DSFL Draft (S14) by the Kansas City Coyotes. Previously Leaf had spent part of the 2029 (S14) season on the Kansas City Coyotes as a player, for which he had 4 appearences in the regular season before getting traded to Norfolk . After a successful season in the DSFL, Leaf entered the 2030 ISFL Draft (S15) and was selected [54th] overall by the [Yellowknife Wraiths].

Early years

Leaf was born in Portland, Oregon on May 29th 2009. Leaf Jr. would spent most of his childhood living in Portland following his father's retirement from the NFL and after spending his short career with the San Diego Chargers. The son of NFL Bust, Ryan Leaf, Leaf Jr. was encouraged to play football from a very young age. Like his father, Leaf Jr. played a number of sports including tennis, basketball and volleyball alongside american football. Leaf opted to reject a number of high profile D1 scholarships insisting that they "are interested in me because of my fathers legacy and his career, not my potential, grit or hard work that has got me to where I am today". Lavelle decided to enter Washington State, where he would accept the opportunity to play football at a collegiate level.

College career

Leaf attended Washington State in Washington state. He opted to not play collegiate basketball, instead choosing to play for the football team as a Quarterback. Leaf averaged 2.3 Touchdowns, 326 passing yards per game for Washington State during his single season there (26 games).

Professional career

Lavelle declared for the 2029 (S14) DSFL Draft and was eligible to hit the DSFL draft where he was drafted by the Kansas City Coyotes for the season. Following this, Leaf was trade to the Norfolk Seawolves.

On April 5th 2029, the Kansas City Coyotes signed Lavelle Jr. to a one-year, $4,000,000 contract which would expire at the end of the 2029 season. He would play in a total of 4 games for the franchise.

After being traded by the Coyotes for locker room issues, Leaf signed a 1-year contract worth $4,000,000 with the Norfolk Seawolves. Leaf and has played a 9 games for the Seawolves.

Lavelle was drafted 54th overall by the Yellowknife Wraiths in the 2030 ISFL Draft (S15). Leaf signed a 3-year contract worth 10 million.
