Ryan Leaf Jr (born May 29, 2009) is an American football defensive tackle who plays for the Yellowknife Wraiths of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL). He was drafted seventeenth overall in the 2029 DSFL Draft (S14) by the Kansas City Coyotes. Previously Leaf had spent part of the 2029 (S14) season on the Kansas City Coyotes, for which he had 4 appearences in the regular season before getting traded to Norfolk. After a successful season in the DSFL, Leaf entered the 2030 ISFL Draft (S15) and was selected sixty-fourth overall by the Yellowknife Wraiths.

Early years

Leaf was born in Portland, Oregon on May 29th, 2009. Leaf Jr. would spend most of his childhood living in Portland following his father's retirement from the NFL and after spending his short career with the San Diego Chargers. The son of a NFL Bust, Ryan Leaf, Leaf Jr. was encouraged to play football from a very young age. Like his father, Leaf Jr. played a number of sports including tennis, basketball and volleyball alongside american football. Leaf opted to reject a number of notable colleges, instead choosing to enrol in Washington State.

College career

Leaf attended Washington state choosing to play for the football team as a quarterback. Leaf had a total of 23 passing touchdowns, 3408 passing yards and just 4 interceptions for Washington State during his single season there (10 games).

Professional career

Leaf Jr. declared for the 2029 (S14) DSFL Draft where he was drafted by the Kansas City Coyotes where he would play four games. Following this, Leaf was traded to the Norfolk Seawolves. Leaf Jr. would play the remaining 10 games of the 2029 (S14) season. Leaf Jr. would not be called up until week 10 during the 2030 (S15) season.

On April 5th 2029, the Kansas City Coyotes signed Leaf Jr. to a one-year, $4,000,000 contract which would expire at the end of the 2029 season. He would play in a total of 4 games for the franchise.
