Neo Donaldson (born January 20, 2005) is an American football kicker for the Tijuana Luchadores of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for Notre Dame (ND) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Grew up in Indiana and spent most of his youth playing soccer. He was a goalie and known for his powerful leg. When he started high school the coach of the football team saw him play and asked him to come try out for football. Neo fell in love with football really fast and quit soccer shortly after. His family has always been very supportive of him and he is named after his dad's favorite movie series "The Matrix". He has always been a big kid and eating is his main love outside of kicking.

College career

He was scouted by a few different colleges but Neo decided on Notre Dame. Neo was a big fan of the 1993 movie Rudy and Notre Dame always had a special place in his heart. He is a native of Gary Indiana so the local connection was strong as well and this way he could stay near family. In college he was hoping to start year 1 but the coaching staff said he came into camp way too heavy and had to lose weight. By year two he had dropped roughly 50 pounds and was named the starter. He had a great college career but his team performed poorly and he didn't get much nationwide recognition. His biggest accomplishment was tying the college football record of a 67 yard field goal. He is known for his power and made multiple kick over 50 yards.
