Maximus was born in Greece, but his family relocated to Albama because reasons. Maximus' enormous physique didn't stop him from doing ballet and symphony. After achieving first Cello status and being featured as a dancer, Maximus decided to conquer football next and magnated into a nearby football program. Due to his impressive size he was immediately successful as a lineman, and as a senior in high school he won the starting left tackle job. The team wasn't particularly remarkable, and in spite of his immense physique, he had to walk-on in college.

Maximus Chungus attended Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, after confusing it with the D1 school in the same city. Chungus attended during the only year of the program's existence, where they led a "non-violent resistance" style offense of sitting, meditating, and chanting on every down. They obviously were blown out entirely even when playing exhibition games against junior college teams, but Maximus learned how to come to peace with his lot in life. Being the hardest to get around when the opposing team was on their way to obliterate the QB, he decided he was ready for pro ball and after just one year on the strangest team in college, Maximus Chungus was ready to put the skills he thought he had acquired to the test and declared himself ready for the draft. Apparently being Tyron Smith-shaped is all you really need.
