Maximus Chungus (born January 29, 2010) is an American football left tackle who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for Naropa University before going undrafted (probably) in Season 18.

Early years
Maximus was born in Greece, but his family relocated to Alabama in his youth because reasons. He was always in the 90% percentile of height and weight as an adolescent, but by the time he entered high school Maximus was already 6' even and starting to fill out. The Chungus family was keen on the arts, and Maximus' enormous physique didn't stop him from doing ballet and symphony. After achieving first Cello and being featured as a dancer, Maximus decided to conquer football next and magnated into a nearby football program at Old Dixie South High School. Due to his impressive size he was immediately successful as a lineman, and as a senior in high school he won the starting left tackle job. The team wasn't particularly remarkable, and in spite of his immense physique, he had to walk-on in college.
College career
Maximus Chungus attended Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, after confusing it with the D1 school in the same city. Chungus attended during the only year of the program's existence, where they led a "non-violent resistance" style offense of sitting, meditating, and chanting on every down. They obviously were blown out entirely in exhibition games against junior college teams, but Maximus learned how to come to peace with his lot in life. Being the hardest to get around when the opposing team was on their way to obliterate the QB, he decided he was ready for pro ball and after just one year on the strangest team in college, he was finally noticed by the University of Colorado football team.
After waiting the required year to transfer, he was granted a scholarship and fought for the starting left tackle spot. The Buffs have been on hard times, basically ever since Kordell Stewart was playing college ball, but "Big" Chungus made the most of it. Although he was virtually perfect, with minimal holding penalties, no false starts, a big stack of pancakes, Maximus Chungus was ready to put the skills he thought he had acquired to the test and declared himself ready for the draft. Apparently being Tyron Smith-shaped is all you really need.

During the six exhibition games during the DSFL Bowl, Maximus Chungus started at LG for the Flint Sun Tropics and had 0 sacks allowed, 0 penalties.
