MC Hammer (born January 1, 2032) is an American football linebacker for the Minnesota Grey Ducks of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

A native of Richardson, Texas, MC Hammer had mainly spent their time in and around the Richardson area. Hammer, along with his two brothers attended Richardson High School, where he spent most of his time playing as a left back for the Richardson High Varsity Soccer team. His brothers began to make a name for themselves at the school's American Football programme, which pushed MC Hammer to give it a try. MC Hammer grew up watching his brothers get accolades relating to their sporting prowess no matter which school they had attended in their youth. MC Hammer was always considered a sort of ""what could have been"" kid when it came to sports as he had not shown much of any interest in sports until high school.

MC Hammer would end up trying out as a Linebacker for the Richardson High football team and took to the sport like a moth to a flame. Hammer ultimately ended up splitting time between the Soccer team and Football team, ultimately choosing to pursue a career in football

College career

MC Hammer did not receive a scholarship to attend any schools. Unfortunately MC Hammer had gotten involved in football a lot later than others, which led scouts to question whether Hammer would be able to commit to the sport or focus on other things. Hammer ended up being a walk on with North Texas University.

It was a familliar location as his elder brothers both were offered scholarships from the school and they had all wanted to stay in the state that they were born in.

Freshman Season

During his freshman year, MC Hammer was redshirted for the entirety of the first season. As a walk on the coaches wanted to see if they could see the player show the desire and committment to improve their game.

Sophomore Season

MC Hammer begin their sophomore season as a rotation option of the Mean Green, spending the majority of the season getting to grips with the pace of college football when compared to high school. The Mean Green ended up 6-7 overall in the C-USA West division with MC Hammer proving to be a potential starter at the linebacker position.

Junior Season

MC Hammer broke his arm in the first game of the season in the C-USA West game against LA Tech. This led to MC Hammer sitting out the rest of the season in preperation for their senior year.

Senior Season

MC Hammer ended their final season with the Mean Green with a total of 3 forced fumbles, 4 interceptions and 4 sacks. It was a standout year which led MC Hammer to declare for the International Simulation Football League."

Professional career

DSFL career

MC Hammer was a waiver pickup for the Minnesota Grey Ducks late in S38.

MC Hammer joined the Minnesota Grey Ducks in their push for the Ultimini during the S38 season. The Linebacker came into the season with 8 games remaining to replace the Robber Ducky the Linebacker. MC Hammer took to the field at Bondi Beach for the first time as a Minnesota Grey Duck. The game ended in a win for the Grey Ducks 27 - 9. MC Hammer had a very productive first game, racking up 6 tackles, tied for 2nd most tackles in the game. With MC Hammer finally making their long awaited debut for the Grey Ducks, he never looked back. Racking up a total of 44 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles, with one fumble recovery.

MC Hammer joined a strong Minnesota Grey Ducks side that were attempting to make a push for the Ultimini and ultimately assisted in cementing the #2 seed for the Grey Ducks in the DSFL North, just behind the Kansas City Coyotes.

Leading up to the playoffs, the Grey Ducks were seemingly looking poised to make a late run in the playoffs, however they had fallen short after coming up against the Kansas City Coyotes, loising 24-34. MC Hammer having a relatively quiet game racking up 4 tackles and 1 pass deflected in an otherwise relatively quiet outing for the up and coming linebacker, in what was a relatively positive first season with the Grey Ducks.

ISFL career

MC Hammer was drafted in the S39 Majors draft to the Baltimore Hawks. MC Hammer was taken in the 1st Round, the young linebacker from Richardson, Texas was plying his trade for the Minnesota Grey Ducks found his way as the 9th overall pick in the S39 Majors Draft for the ISFL. Upon arriving at the training facilities at Baltimore, MC Hammer was quoted saying "Yous aren't ready for what imma bout to do". Whilst the quote was myserious at the time, it is now understood that this was said in reference to MC Hammer swapping positions from Linebacker to Defensive Tackle. The move was met with some justified criticisms as MC Hammer had failed to be able to make an immediate impact on the defensive side of the ball for the Baltimore Hawks. The 1st year rookie will be looking to take the next step in his career as a 2nd year player and after a year of coming to grips with his new position.
